02.28.2025 Round table

On February 28, 2025, on the basis of the Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev, a round table was held on the topic "Discussion and improvement of the educational program in the direction 520800 "Ecology and nature management"".

The event was attended by representatives of leading universities and government agencies, as well as specialists from environmental organizations. The participants discussed topical issues of personnel training in the field of ecology, modern approaches to the formation of educational programs and ways of interaction between science, education and practice.

On behalf of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov, Omurov Zhyrgalbek Makeshovich, PhD, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Technosphere Safety, made a presentation. In his speech, he shared the department's experience in training specialists in the field of safety and sustainable environmental management, and also stressed the importance of interuniversity cooperation for the development of environmental education.

At the end of the round table, the participants summed up the results and outlined areas for further cooperation between educational and scientific institutions.
