02.25.2025 round table "Snow leopard as a national symbol".

On February 25, 2025, within the framework of the decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic "on the recognition of the snow leopard as the national symbol of the Kyrgyz Republic", a round table "The snow leopard is a national symbol" was held. The event was held at the Innovation CenterA government agency.

The purpose of the event is to protect snow leopards and wildlife, maintain ecosystem sustainability, and raise environmental awareness in the community.

The events were attended by representatives of government agencies, scientific circles, nature protection specialists, representatives of educational institutions and members of international organizations.

Both the Kyrgyz State Technical University (KSTU) and the active participation of teachers and the head of the Technosphere safety Department. Representatives of the department shared their scientific and practical considerations in the field of environmental and nature protection and presented their recommendations on ensuring environmental safety.

During the event, representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic and the German Nature Conservation Union NABU made informational presentations to the participants.

The participation of the Technosphere Safety Department of KSU contributed to the improvement of the ecological culture of young specialists, as well as to the strengthening of international cooperation in the field of nature protection.
