10.15.2025 Public hearing on the Kambaratinskaya HPP-1 project

October 15, 2025. Representatives of the Department of Technosphere Safety — Head of the Department Omurov J.M., as well as associate professors Ispgalieva A.K. and Umanova N.D. — participated in the second stage of public hearings and national consultations on the Kambaratinskaya HPP-1 project, organized by the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

 The event was held in the Park Hotel conference hall and was dedicated to discussing the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) report on the construction of the Kambaratinskaya HPP-1, one of the country's key infrastructure projects.

According to the Ministry of Energy, Kambaratinskaya HPP-1 has been identified as a national project of strategic importance aimed at improving energy security, developing renewable energy sources and strengthening regional cooperation in Central Asia..
