11.10.2024 Conference dedicated to the Day of Disaster Risk Reduction in the Kyrgyz Republic

On October 11, 2024, teachers and students of the Department of Technosphere Safety of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov took part in the V Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in the Context of Climate Change, organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The event was held as part of the Month for Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Week, held from October 7 to 11, 2024 in accordance with the decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The conference was held under the auspices of the National Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction and brought together representatives of government agencies, scientific institutions, international organizations and educational institutions. The participants discussed topical issues of adaptation to climate change, the introduction of modern technologies and mechanisms to reduce the vulnerability of the population to natural disasters.

The department's participation in such events contributes to strengthening the scientific and educational potential of the university, as well as developing a culture of safety and risk tolerance among young people.
