10.10.2024 Seminar "NPP Safety"

On October 10, 2024, a seminar on "Safety of Nuclear Power plants (NPP)" was held at the Innovation Center (Bishkek, Erkindik Boulevard, 58A), organized with the participation of Rosatom State Corporation.

The event was attended by representatives of scientific and educational institutions, experts in the field of energy, ecology and technosphere safety.

The head of the Department of Technosphere Safety, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Omurov Zhyrgalbek Makeshovich took part from the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov.

The seminar program included presentations by leading experts in the field of nuclear energy, discussion of issues of technical and radiation safety of nuclear power plants, the impact of NPP construction on the scientific and technical development of the country, as well as Rosatom's solutions for countries with high seismic activity.

The participants noted the high level of organization of the seminar and the importance of the presented reports for the further development of safe energy technologies in Kyrgyzstan.
