The Department of Technosphere Safety prepares bachelors and masters in two profiles: "Safety of technological processes and production" and "Protection in emergency situations." The department has 6 classrooms, 2 of them are lecture rooms. By the decision of the scientific council of KSTU, based on the training center of the Ministry of Emergencies in the village of Leninskoye a branch of the department was created for conducting practical classes on profiles with the participation of employees and teachers of this unit. In 2019, an agreement was signed and drawn up on joint training and education of students between KSTU named after I.Razzakov and Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU). A set was made for the joint training of bachelors and masters with the issuance of a double diploma of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation for the first year between the departments of "Technosphere Safety" KSTU named after I. Razzakov and "Life safety in the technosphere" NSTU.
