The Department of "Technologies of public catering products" conducts a bachelor's degree program:

In the direction 740300 – "Technology of products and organization of public catering"

According to the profiles:

• "Production technology and organization of public catering";

• "Product technology and service organization in restaurants and hotel complexes";

• "Organization of catering services for tourists".

• "Restaurant and hotel business".

Graduates of the department can work as:

• Technologists and organizers at catering establishments, hospitals, resorts, sanatoriums, cafes, restaurants;

• Directors-managers of catering enterprises of various forms of ownership;

• Heads of production at catering enterprises (canteen, restaurant, cafe, etc.) of various forms of ownership;

• Nutritionists in preschool institutions and school food factories;

• Technologists at large and small food enterprises specializing in the production of culinary products;

• Commercial employees (manager) at trade and catering enterprises of various forms of ownership;

• Managers and specialists of catering departments;

• Commodity experts of food products of trade and public catering enterprises;

• The organizers of the trading floor of public catering enterprises;

• Calculators of public catering at public catering enterprises;

• Employees of food laboratories;

• Teachers of universities, technical schools, vocational schools;

• Employees of the food department of the sanitary and epidemiological station, standardization and quality control services.

Graduates of the specialty "Restaurant and hotel business" can work as:

• Managers at catering establishments, sanatoriums, resorts, restaurants, cafes, etc.;

• Directors – managers of catering enterprises of various forms of ownership;

• Commercial workers at trade enterprises;

• Manager –organizer of commercial offsets;

• Head- analyst for forecasting consumer demand for restaurant products and services;

• Business Technology Research and Modeling Manager

Every year, 15 budget places are allocated to the TPOP specialty for the direction 740300 – "Product technology and catering organization".

The duration of full-time study for bachelors is 4 years, by correspondence - 5 years.

Magistracy

There is a State license for the right to conduct educational activities for the preparation of masters in the field of higher professional education in the direction 740300-"Product technology and catering organization", the decision of the State Inspectorate for Licensing and Accreditation (certification) under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, license No. LD160000373 dated 06/3/2016. (indefinite period of validity, 2 years of study).

There is a set of students for a master's degree in the direction:740300 "Product technology and organization of catering products under the program "Technology of functional food products".

The educational process is organized in accordance with the curriculum. Graduates of the department in the above direction (masters) can work in production, in research institutes, in higher educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as actively engage in scientific activities.

Upon admission to the master's program, the average score on the Transcript of the bachelor or specialist's diploma grades (on a budget) is taken into account. Who have a bachelor's, specialists or master's degree in higher education.

The duration of the master's degree is 2 years. The cost of contract training is 42900 soms.                 

A set of contract training by correspondence is being made - 35750 soms

The purpose of the master's program in the direction 740300 is "Product technology and catering organization"

The master's degree program in the direction 740300 – "Product technology and catering organization" aims to provide methodological support for the implementation of the STATE HPE of the Kyrgyz Republic in this area of training and on this basis the development of students' personal qualities, as well as the formation of general cultural (universal) and professional competencies in accordance with the requirements of the STATE HPE of the Kyrgyz Republic in this area of training.

The objectives of the educational program in the direction 740300 – "Product technology and catering organization" are the preparation of a master's degree:

Solving general scientific problems in the field of humanities and natural science knowledge, which allows graduates to work successfully in their chosen field of activity, possess universal and professional competencies that contribute to their social mobility and stability in the labor market;

The research work of the masters is conducted under the guidance of leading professors and associate professors of the department. The teachers of the department conduct research work in the following areas: "Development of technology of public catering products with a functional orientation", "Development of public catering products from yak meat", etc.
