Zhumaliev Zh.M. born in 1959, Kyrgyz. Higher education. Graduated in 1981 from the Physics Department of the KSU named after the 50th Anniversary of the USSR with a degree in Physics. Teacher. After graduating from the KSU named after the 50th Anniversary of the USSR, he was assigned to the Institute of Seismology of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, where he worked as an engineer from 1981 to 1983. Then, in 1983, by transfer, he was enrolled as a researcher at the Department of the Department of "Technologies of Metals and Materials Science of the FPI". In 1987, he was sent for an internship, followed by admission to a targeted postgraduate course at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. In 1988, he entered the full-time graduate school of Bauman Moscow State Technical University, which he successfully completed in 1991.
After graduating from graduate school from 1991 to 1993, he worked as a teacher at the Department of "Metal Technologies and Materials Science", and since 1993 he was enrolled in the Department of "Mechanical Engineering Technologies" as a senior lecturer.
Since 1998 he has worked as an acting associate professor, and since 1999 he has been working as an associate professor of the Department of "Mechanical Engineering Technologies" of the I. Razzakov KSTU.
In 2004-2006 he worked as the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Transport and Mechanical Engineering.
In 2015, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Development of technology and a plasma torch for cutting metals with a rotating ball electrode".
Zhumaliev Zh.M. lectures and conducts laboratory work in the following disciplines: "Technology of structural materials", "Materials Science", "Welding production", "Methods of structural analysis and quality control of products". He is the head of master's theses and conducts classes for undergraduates in the disciplines: "Methods and means of measurement, control of materials testing", "Chemical and thermal processing of materials" and "Materials Science and technology of modern and promising materials".
Zhumaliev Zh.M. conducts training sessions in Russian and Kyrgyz.
He has 35 scientific papers, 4 copyright certificates for inventions, 3 textbooks, 2 of them in the state language. He has developed 18 guidelines for performing laboratory and practical work. In 1988, he became a laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of Kyrgyzstan in the field of science and technology.
In addition, he takes part in the annual competition held at KSTU
"The best works published in the state language" and was awarded in the 2015-2016 academic year with diplomas of the I and II degrees in the nomination "Best methodological guidelines", and also in the 2016-2017 academic year was awarded with a diploma of the I degree in the nomination "Best textbooks".
Takes an active part in the public life of KSTU. He is a member of the Academic Council of FTiM and a member of the Academic Council of I. Razzakov KSTU. In addition, he is a member of the NTS FTiM and a member of the KSTU Labor Disputes Commission.
In 2004, he was awarded an Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic. In 2007, he was awarded the badge "Excellent Student of Education".
