Education: Graduated in 1992 from the Alma-Ata Power Engineering Institute (Kazakhstan), majoring in Electrical Power Systems and Networks.
Research interests: Reactive power management and voltage control in electrical power systems.

Since 2005, a member of the Academic Council of KSTI and coordinator of a joint master’s program with Ilmenau University of Technology in the field of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology.
