Educational and methodological work

The department's teaching and methodological work is carried out in accordance with approved annual plans. The department has 49 disciplines, including the following:

  • "Technology and Design of Light Industry Products" (Bachelor's degree) - 42 disciplines;

  • "Costume and Textile Art" - 4 disciplines;

  • "Design" - 3 disciplines.

Electronic teaching and methodological packages have been developed for all disciplines. The courses are fully equipped with teaching and demonstration materials for all types of classes.

Modern educational technologies are actively used in the teaching process: digital and multimedia tools, interactive learning formats. Presentations, educational films, slides, and other electronic resources are used. Laboratory and practical classes are held in specialized classrooms and laboratories equipped with the necessary equipment, instruments, stands, models, and modern teaching and methodological materials, ensuring practice-oriented training for students.

As part of the educational program's implementation, the department's teaching staff carries out systematic and planned educational and methodological activities aimed at ensuring the quality of the educational process and the continuous updating of educational and methodological support. The development, review, and publication of educational and methodological materials are carried out in accordance with the Regulation on the Preparation of Educational and Methodological Publications, Textbooks, and Teaching Aids for Publishing.

The department's teaching staff regularly develops and updates textbooks, teaching aids, lecture courses, methodological guidelines, and recommendations for laboratory, practical, coursework, and final qualifying projects in accordance with the approved publication plan. These educational and methodological materials cover all key disciplines of the educational program, ensuring its methodological integrity and compliance with modern requirements of science and the light industry.

From 2021 to 2025, the department's faculty developed and published over 50 educational and methodological works, demonstrating the stability and continuity of its methodological work. Particular attention is paid to the development of teaching aids and textbooks in the Kyrgyz language and approved by the Ministry of Education and Science.

The developed teaching aids are actively used in the educational process, regularly updated to reflect changes in educational standards, curricula, and employer requirements, and are also posted in the university's library collection and electronic educational environment.

The publication schedule for teaching aids and developments is regularly fulfilled 100%.
