Department of International Activities "Technology Research Light Industry"
The international cooperation of the department is effectively carried out with the West-Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau (Germany), the Program for the Promotion of Trade in Kyrgyzstan implemented by the International Trade Center (ITC) and the Global Program in the Textile and Garment Sector (GTEX) funded by the Government of Switzerland. The program "Promotion of trade in the Kyrgyz Republic" is financed by the Government of Switzerland through the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). The main goal of the program is to help increase income and employment in the textile and garment industry by increasing the export competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises.
According to the memorandum with the West-Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau (WHZ) in the direction "Technology and design of light industry products", a new profile "Textile and leather technology" was opened at the TILP department in 2015, and the mobility of students and teachers was organized as part of the educational program. Work is carried out on the development of international academic mobility of teachers, researchers and students, both in the near and far abroad. Teachers successfully upgrade their qualifications at the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences. Zwickau (Germany), and students of the "Textile and Leather Technology" profile are sent to monthly and semester training.
In recent years, academic mobility with the Almaty Technological University (ATU), student exchange during educational and production practice has been activated.
Memorandum signed in 2019 KGTU named after I. Razzakova and the International Trade Center (ITC) in cooperation with the creation of the Light Industry Training Center "Industry of Personnel" as part of the Global Program in the Textile and Garment Sector (GTEX) and funded by the Swiss government.
Within the framework of this memorandum, a specialized Training Center for light industry has been opened, equipped with modern equipment and advanced training methods for training and retraining designers using a modern system of automatic design of clothing and sewing - operators of high-speed sewing. As part of the Memorandum, MTC will provide assistance in the purchase of CAD software "Grafis" version 12, plotters, special machines, the organization of appropriate training of CAD teachers, as well as the development of curricula and programs for short-term training and retraining courses.KGTU provided the necessary conditions for the functioning of the Educational Center, including: provision of premises and further maintenance of the center, purchase of computers and sewing machines, development of training programs in cooperation with the industry and other educational institutions, provision of access to modern technologies for students of other universities and specialists of textile and garment enterprises.
Also, within the framework of the MTC's Memorandum, the department cooperates with the Russian company "Kadrus" and the licensed software CAD "Grafis" version 12 is installed in the computer cabinet. This is a modern, intelligent system of automated pattern design (pattern creation), capable of greatly simplifying and speeding up the process of creating and launching clothing models into production.
The department cooperates with the National School of Textile and Garment Industry in Casablanca, Kingdom of Morocco on the Global Program in the Textile and Garment Sector (GTEX). As part of the cooperation, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between KGTU and the Higher School of Textiles and Clothing ESITH, which involves academic exchange of students and teachers, as well as educational and research information, conducting joint scientific research, etc.
In 2017, the department cooperates with "SAPRLEGPROM" LLC, Rostov-on-Don, Russia, in the training and retraining of light industry specialists in the field of education using modern information technologies and equipment. Within the framework of this agreement, licensed CAD software "JULIVI" was installed in the laboratory of the department.
The department maintains relations with the Vitebsk State Technological University of the Republic of Belarus in the field of educational and scientific-practical activities.
An agreement on cooperation in the field of education, science, technology, student and academic mobility was concluded between the department and the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry.
A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with the Almaty Technological University (ATU) and the Educational Center "Sheber" of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the implementation of joint projects and programs, on the organization of bilateral joint seminars, conferences and round tables, on mutual assistance in improving the scientific qualifications of undergraduates, PPS, on the exchange of experience and the development of advanced innovative teaching methods.
