Monitoring the employment of graduates

Monitoring of the labor market and the educational services market is constantly on the agenda of the department, especially in the aspect of career guidance with basic schools, in the process of cooperation with enterprises and institutions of the industry, in the process of participation in the employment of graduates, in the process of monitoring the career growth of graduates.

The department has production, methodological, and creative ties with industry enterprises. Currently, these are the following enterprises: sewing association: LLC "Nissi", LLC "Eline-moda", LLC "Bermet" LLC "Community-B", LLC "Nazik", SHP "Aziar", Atelier "Zhyldyz", LLC "Ardamina", LLC "Credo-Fachion, State of emergency "Larisa fashion", LLC "Sabrina", LLC "Olga Classik Style", LLC "Aktis", LLC "Tabysh", LLC "Zorin".

There are contracts with the above-mentioned enterprises for conducting prequalification and production practices. The department takes an active part in the employment of graduates, organizes employment events - a meeting with representatives of production, invites production managers to defend the WRC.

For the 2022-2023 academic year, the members of the SAC are graduates of the department Tynaliev S.K. and Karkacheva N.V.

The high level of training of specialists is noted by enterprises, and enterprises enter into contracts for targeted training of specialists. The department has concluded 15 contracts with enterprises of LLC Nissi,LLC Eline-moda, LLC Bermet, LLC City-B, LLC Nazik, SHP Aziar, Atelier Zhyldyz, LLC Ardamina, LLC Credo-Fachion, PE Larisa fashion", LLC "Sabrina", LLC "Olga Classik Style", LLC "Aktis", LLC "Tabysh", LLC "Zorin".

Already during the prequalification practice, graduates have agreements with businesses.. For example, students of gr.TSHI(b)-3-19, gr. KSHI(b)-1-19, TILP(dot)-1-18, passed prequalification practice in the State of emergency "Asiyar", LLC "Aktis", LLC "Line moda", LLC "Phoenix", and many were offered to work at these enterprises.

For example, students gr. KSHI-1-19 Esenkanova P, Asilbekova A., Omurbekova E. after passing the prequalification practice, they got a job at the enterprise PE "Asiyar" as assistants to the designer.

        The department closely cooperates with the Association of Legprom and Soyuztextil, and also actively participates in events organized by GIS and the Association of Legprom: Fashion Industry, Fashion Week, Job Fair, etc.

On March 29, 2023, a job Fair was held organized with the technical support of the Global Textile and The Sewing Program (GTEX), implemented by the International Trade Center (ITC) and funded by the Swiss Government. The organizers were the training center of light industry "Industry of personnel" and the department "Technology of light industry products".

                The job fair was attended by representatives of more than thirty sewing enterprises, such as Phoenix-Fly, Travel and Trade LLC, Textile-Trans LLC, Asiyar LLC, etc., as well as representatives of the Global Textile and Sewing Program (GTEX); the teaching staff of the TILP department; potential trainers of UCLP "Personnel Industry"; graduates of universities, colleges and lyceums of Bishkek.

 

On April 28, 2023, the department together with the light industry training center "Personnel Industry" held a round table on the topic: "Production sites and adaptation of graduates to professional activities". The participants of the event were: heads of sewing, textile and leather enterprises, representatives of ITC, the Association "Legprom", representatives of universities and colleges in Bishkek.

The purpose was: to discuss the organization of a dialogue platform between the university and with sewing, textile and leather enterprises on the adaptation of graduates to professional activities; - the possibility of organizing production sites at leading enterprises in order to improve the quality of training specialists; - training of technologists, designers of sewing and textile and leather production to production conditions and to the fastest adaptation to professional activity; - formats of prequalification practices for graduates.

The job fair featured a fashion show, the work of students of the Department of "Technology of Light Industry products", "Artistic Product Design", as well as a collection of students of the Polytechnic College of KSTU named after I. Razzakov.

 The graduates' resumes were distributed. The graduates were consulted on employment. A tour of the laboratories of the Training Center "Personnel Industry" was conducted for the heads of clothing companies.

        The department has a database of graduates on their employment.

 The employment of graduates of the department for the 2022-2023 academic year is: 94% are bachelors, 100% are masters, the remaining 5% are graduates with newborn children.

The department has a database of graduates on their employment. The average employment rate of graduates of the department for 5 years is 94%, for 2021-22 – 94% (bachelor's degree), 100% (master's degree). The percentage of graduation in relation to those enrolled last year is 91% (bachelor's degree), 100% (master's degree). The average for five years in the department is 97% and 93%, respectively.

The department annually participates in a job fair, holds round tables, the results of discussions with employers are considered at a meeting of the department, decisions are made.  The percentage of employment over 6 years is shown in the table.
