The project implemented by the department "Technology of products of light industry"

Since 2018, the department "Technology of light industry products" (TILP) in the direction 740700 "Technology and construction of light industry products" is implementing an educational program for bachelors in the profile "Textile and leather technology" under the DAAD "Eastern Partnership" Program.

Within the framework of the program, German professors give guest lectures to students, teachers of the TILP department have international internships, and students have the opportunity to participate in academic mobility on the basis of the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences. Zwickau (Germany), which allows them to improve their professional skills and get acquainted with modern European technologies in the field of textile and light industry.

In 2019-2024. KGTU implemented a project within the framework of the Trade Promotion Program in the Kyrgyz Republic, implemented with the technical support of the Global Textile and Sewing Program (GTEX), the International Trade Center (ITC) and funded by the Government of Switzerland. The project was aimed at strengthening the export potential of the textile and garment industry, increasing the competitiveness of domestic enterprises and improving the personnel training system.

Within the framework of the project at the department "Technology of products of light industry" Educational center of light industry "Industria kadrov" was created. The center is focused on training, retraining and advanced training of specialists for enterprises of the textile and garment industry. Educational activities of the center are carried out on the basis of a valid license.

Currently, the Center implements educational programs for additional education (courses) in the following directions: designer-operator of computer design of clothing according to the Grafis 12 program; sewing production technologist (flow method); Clo3D for clothing designers; seamstress - operator (course of high-speed seamstresses)"; quality management system in the sewing industry; designer clothes (manual construction).

The program is aimed both at novice specialists and at employees of enterprises who strive to improve their professional skills and master modern digital technologies.

As a result of the implementation of the project, a specialized educational and production laboratory was created, equipped with modern industrial sewing machines, as well as a computer class with a licensed GRAFIS 12 program and a large-format plotter "Inkjet Plotter" for printing a picture in natural size. Such equipment allows students to fully master the process of designing and preparing products for production - from design development and digital modeling to the creation of ready-made models. Conducted educational training and seminars for teachers and representatives of sewing enterprises.

The creation of the Educational Center "Industria kadrov" became an important stage in the development of the personnel potential of the light industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the strengthening of the university's interaction with industry enterprises.
