Hu Haisheng

Professor and Supervisor

Hu Haisheng is currently the Vice Dean of the School of Business Administration at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Vice Dean of the Institute of Tourism Development, Doctor, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor, as well as a Visiting Scholar at Northern Arizona University (USA). His main research and teaching areas focus on tourism development and management.

He also serves as the Director of the Tourism Education Branch of the China Tourism Association, Vice President of the Tourism Education Branch of the Jiangxi Tourism Association, and Secretary-General of the Jiangxi Happiness Industry–Education Strategic Alliance. Previously, he worked as Assistant Director of the Yichun Tourism Development Committee.

Professor Hu has published 7 books (independently or co-authored), over 60 scientific papers, led more than 20 research projects of various levels, including those funded by the National Social Science Fund of China, and has supervised over 100 tourism planning and design projects.

Awards:

  • 2018 — National Award for Outstanding Young Teacher in Tourism Education.
  • 2019 — Title of Famous Teacher in Tourism Education by the Tourism Education Branch of the Jiangxi Tourism Association.
  • 2019 — Outstanding Scholar in the Jiangxi Tourism Industry Award, Jiangxi Tourism Association.
  • Recognized as an Outstanding Member of the Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the Democratic League, Advanced Individual in Fighting the Epidemic, and recipient of the Excellence Award for Political Participation and Policy Discussion.
  • At Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Professor Hu has received multiple honors, including:
