The research and innovation activities of the Department of Management are carried out in accordance with the plan of the research work of the department within the framework of the scientific topic: "Problems of management of organizations in market relations" and in accordance with the development strategy of the department until 2025. Within the framework of the general topic of research, separate areas were identified, supervised by doctors, candidates of sciences of the department. The teaching staff of the department conducts research on topical issues of the organization of enterprise management in modern conditions.
The department has a postgraduate school, where graduate students study - Stalbekova A. S., Begalieva K. B.
Two applicants (Prof. Imankulova E.T., Associate Professor Kanaeva I.B.) and six employees write PhD dissertations (senior teachers: Kudabaeva N.K., Toymyrzayeva S.O., Izakova R.A., Rifert K.P., Duishenalieva Z.T., Stalbekova A.S., Begalieva K.B.).
Professor Atantaev I.A. is a member of the expert commission of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic and an international expert.
Teachers of the department are active participants of international conferences, various seminars and round tables.
Within the framework of scientific and practical cooperation in the scientific and innovative field, the department has contracts with universities:
Baltic State Technical University "VOENMEH" named after D.F.Ustinov (Russian Federation, St. Petersburg); Samara State Technical University (Samara, Russia); Altai State University (Barnaul, Russian Federation); Khabarovsk State University of Economics and Law (Russian Federation, Khabarovsk). At the initiative of the Department of Management, international scientific and practical conferences have been held in the format of remote video communication for the last five years in a row. The conference participants represented three partner universities – I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University, Khabarovsk State University of Economics and Law (Russia), the University of Applied Research of the Netherlands (Germany). In 2019, in the same format, an international scientific and practical conference was held with Samara State University (Russia).
The department participates in the organization and holding of international scientific and technical conferences of young scientists, graduate students, undergraduates and university students.
