State exams at KSTU: the start of a professional path

The busy season has begun at I. Razzakov KSTU – from March 26 to 28, state exams for bachelors and masters in the Management and Business Administration programs of the Higher School of Economics and Business are taking place. The atmosphere in the university corridors has noticeably changed: the silence in the classrooms, the focused faces of the students, the strict business attire – all this gives away the seriousness of the moment.

The graduates look more mature and collected, because one of the most important stages of their academic and professional life is ahead. The examination committees, consisting not only of teachers, but also of successful graduates – general directors of construction and design companies, as well as heads of Gazpromneft-Asia divisions, treat the students’ anxiety with understanding and respect. After all, they once sat at these desks and went through the same path.

State exams are not just a test of knowledge, but lively discussions, a search for solutions and a demonstration of professional competencies. And although there was some excitement, satisfaction from excellent results prevailed. The commission noted the high level of preparation of the graduates, and the number of high grades was significantly higher than satisfactory. This pleased not only the students, but also the teachers - another graduating class demonstrated their readiness for professional work.

However, there is another serious test ahead - the defense of final qualification papers and master's theses. This is the final step, requiring maximum concentration, analytical thinking and endurance.

Let this stage become another important step for graduates to a successful career! Good luck, future managers and administrators!
