The Department of Management was established in 1998 on the basis of the Faculty of Business and Management at the I. Razzakov Kazakh Technical University. Until 2016, it was part of the Institute of Management and Business, and from 2016 to 2022, it was part of the Faculty of Engineering and Economics of the I. Razzakov Kyrgyz Technical University. In 2022, in accordance with Order No. 1605/1 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic dated August 19, 2022, “On the Reorganization of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov,” the department was merged with the Department of Management of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after N. Isanov. In terms of organizational structure and status, the merged department is a graduating department of the Higher School of Economics and Business (VShEiB) of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov.

The department at the Kyrgyz Architectural and Construction Institute (later KSUCA named after N. Isanov) has its own history. It was formed on February 9, 1993, on the basis of the departments of “Construction Technology and Organization” and “Economics and Management in Construction” as a specialized department of “Entrepreneurial Activity and Construction Organization.” On December 15, 1994, it was renamed the Department of “Management in Construction” (MC). . On February 7, 2005, the Department of Construction Management was merged with the Department of Construction Technology to form the Department of Technology and Management. The department's teachers conduct classes in licensed areas of full-time and distance learning at KSTU institutes. The main areas of development for the department are improving the quality of educational services, continuously improving the qualifications of the teaching staff, and developing international relations. The head of the department, Professor Imankulova E.T., is the author of about 100 scientific works and actively participates in scientific conferences, seminars, and international projects.
