The process of human resource development is one of the main priorities of the university's educational activities, ensuring its quality. At the university, much attention is paid to the issues of professional development of the teaching staff. The system of advanced training is implemented in the following areas: traditional – postgraduate studies, master's degree, scientific and practical seminars, short-term courses organized within KSTU, etc.; active - teachers improve their qualifications on internships, field classes and seminars at leading enterprises of the republic, in research institutes. To train specialists of the highest category, the department has opened a postgraduate course in the following specialties: "Processes and devices of food production", "Theory of mechanisms and machines". Teachers of the department Tilemishova N.T., Toktogulova A.K., Osmonbekk.M., Moldobek K. A. are graduate students. According to the professional development plan, teachers take advanced training courses within the framework of international projects. For example, Associate Professor of the Department of Food Engineering, Candidate of Technical Sciences Abdiraimov A.A. under the ITEC program completed the training course "3D Modeling and application of the CATIA program" at the Institute of Tool Design, Hyderabad, India, 01.08.2016-07.10.2020. The postgraduate student of the Department, Toktogulova Aizada, completed advanced training in Delhi under the program "Coigse in RDBMS and advance web technology including DOT NET FRAME WORK, MVVM, WCF, WPF, LINQ, WF and SHARE POINT SERVER. " in February-April 2019. In the 2019-2020 academic year, the staff of the department participated in several international conferences: On SEPTEMBER 25 – 27, 2019, the IV International Exhibition Forum "Eurasian Week - 2019" was held at the STATE RESIDENCE "ALA–ARCHA" (Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic), in which the Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Sadieva A.E. took part.
On September 8-19, 2019, the International Scientific and Practical Conference "INTEGRATION PROCESSES IN the SCIENTIFIC, TECHNICAL AND EDUCATIONAL SPACE" was held, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov, which was attended by students and teachers of the department in section 2 "Mechatronics and Robotics". On November 5-6, 2019, the Institute of Machine Science and Automation of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic hosted an international scientific and practical conference on "ACTUAL PROBLEMS of MACHINE MECHANICS" dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the birth of corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, the first President of the Engineering Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic S. Abdraimov. The conference was attended by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, head of the Department. PI Sadieva A.E. and lecturer, graduate student Toktogulova A.K. Graduate student of the Department of PI Toktogulova A.K. reported on the topic "Issues of synthesis of structures of gear mechanisms of technological machines". On December 2-3, 2019, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bishkek, with the support of the Asian Development Bank project to strengthen opportunities and mitigate risks during the period of adaptation of the Kyrgyz Republic in integration with the EAEU, organized a practical conference on the topic "The Kyrgyz Republic in the Eurasian Economic Union: results, experience and prospects". The conference was attended by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Sadieva A.E.
