The educational activities of the department are aimed at training competitive specialists in the field of information systems and technologies. The department implements bachelor's and master's degree programs under the direction 710200 "Information Systems and Technologies," focused on forming the professional, general cultural, and research competencies of students.

The department's educational activities combine fundamental theoretical training with practice-oriented learning using modern information technologies and electronic educational resources. The content of educational programs is regularly updated to reflect the requirements of state educational standards, scientific developments, and labor market needs.

The department provides educational and methodological support for the implemented programs, the development of electronic learning materials, and support for the independent and scientific research work of students. Special attention is paid to the preparation of bachelor's graduation projects and master's theses.
