Analysis of the labour market shows that the demand for professional programmers in Kyrgyzstan currently exceeds 50,000 people, according to CARPO (Kyrgyz Association of Software Developers).

The annual output of all universities in Kyrgyzstan capable of meeting this demand is 200 people.

There is an acute shortage of well-trained programmers not only in the Kyrgyz market, but also in other developed countries.

All graduates of the department work in IT departments as programmers, network administrators.  Many hold key positions in the management of organisations both in Kyrgyzstan and abroad. The Department also attracts its graduates to work in companies, to supervise educational, industrial and pre-qualification practices, and to teach a number of specialist disciplines.
