Engineering Problem Solving Championship

For the first time in the Kyrgyz Republic, with the support of JSC "National Electric Grid of Kyrgyzstan", the championship on solving engineering problems among students of "electric power engineering" from all corners of the Republic was held in the BAZ of KSTU named after I. Razzakov. This event aroused great interest among the universities of Kyrgyzstan, which provide training in energy specialities. There were 17 teams registered to participate in the championship.

      Thus, 15 teams took part in the qualifying round, of which 5 teams made it to the final part:

      "Streamer" (KSTU named after I.Razzakov), "Fos" (KRSU), "Challengers" (KSTU named after I.Razzakov), "Edison" (KSTU named after I.Razzakov) and "Shumkar" (IGU named after K.Tynystanov).

      On 19-20 December 2018, the final of the championship was held.

The winning teams were:

I place team Edison KSTU

II place team Fos Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU)

III place team Challengers KSTU

      On 20 December, the finalist teams met with energy companies of the republic and awarded the winners.
