Program "Professional Education in Central Asia" (GIZ)

The program is implemented by the organization GIZ GmbH on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany.

Since 2011, the Department of "Food Technology" is one of the partners of the program "Professional Education in Central Asia" (GIZ). The purpose of this partnership is:

1. Modernization of teaching methods and application of modern technologies taking into account environmental and economic requirements of the private sector.

2. Achievement of a high indicator of the quality of education and employment.

3. Development of training programs in accordance with the Bologna criteria and the needs of local industry.

4. Strengthening the relationship between the university and industry to ensure that the results of educational processes are consistent with the real needs of the industry and the labor market.

Unconditional accreditation of educational program «Food Technology» (Bachelor's degree) by ACQUIN, an independent European accreditation agency, until 30.09.2020.

Unconditional accreditation of educational program «Food Technology» (Master's degree) by ACQUIN, an independent European accreditation agency, until September 30.09.2021

Double diplomas at the "Food Technology" department

Students are trained at the department in the direction 740200 “Technology and production of food products of animal origin” - “Bachelor”, profile “Technology of milk and dairy products” under the joint program “2 + 2” with the I.I. Polzunov Altai State Technical University.

Currently, negotiations are underway with the Almaty Technological University on the organization of double-degree education on the profiles of the department.
