Educational and methodical work. The department has 38 psychological and pedagogical disciplines, which include the disciplines: "Psychology and pedagogy", "Organization of vocational training", "Methods of teaching technical disciplines", "Methods of educational work", "Fundamentals of pedagogical skills", "Engineering psychology" for all specialties of KSTU, "Pedagogy of higher school" for masters and postgraduates. Methodological developments of the department are mainly aimed at providing those disciplines for which there are not enough textbooks, as well as for subjects with a large volume of laboratory practice. Work is underway to create their own electronic textbooks, and it is possible to use the collections of libraries of other, including foreign universities via the Internet. Textbooks are supplemented with scientific journals, as well as a sufficient number of methodological developments. In recent years, the department has developed more than 22 textbooks and textbooks. UMK, working and modular programs have been developed in all disciplines. Electronic guidelines for distance learning are being developed. The department annually carries out all the necessary work to complete diploma, graduation and master's works. Before sending students to pre-graduate practice, they are given the topics of their theses.
All training sessions are conducted using modern technical means of teaching, through the use of video materials and slides during lectures.
