Batkibekova M. B. was educated at universities in Bulgaria, Germany, Russia. Since 1962, he has been working at the FPI – KSTU, engaged in educational, scientific and social activities. Batkibekova M. B. conducts research in the field of inorganic, organic and physical chemistry, food chemistry (the use of chemicals of natural origin to adjust the functionality of food products), environmental chemistry (the study of the chemical composition of food raw materials as an indicator of the state of the environment). In academic work during her time at FPI – KSTU, she passed all the steps of the service ladder: senior lecturer, head of the department, dean, vice-rector.
Scientific activity – Director of the Research Institute of Chemical Technology, member of the dissertation Councils in chemistry for the defense of doctoral dissertations (Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan). He has scientific contacts with institutions in Russia, Kazakhstan, the USA, England, etc.
Batkibekova M. is the founder of the scientific school of chemical thermodynamics in the republic. Under her leadership, 2 doctoral theses were prepared, 8 candidate theses were defended. A council for the defense of PhD theses on food technology has been opened at the Research Institute of Chemical Technology. Batkibekova M. has published more than 300 scientific papers, including 3 monographs. 20 copyright certificates and patents have been obtained. Batkibekova M. is the author of 6 textbooks and teaching aids, of which 3 are written in the Kyrgyz language.
In the field of inventive activity – has patents on chemical technology (technology for processing gold and antimony-containing raw materials), food technology (production of functional food products). In the field of grant activity, Batkibekova M. B. has repeatedly won grants for science in Kyrgyzstan — a large international grant through the ISTC on the technology of processing gold-containing raw materials together with institutions of the USA and England.
In public activities, Batkibekova M.B. is the chairman of the jury of the Republican Chemistry Olympiad; scientific supervisor for the preparation of the Kyrgyz team for participation in international chemistry Olympiads. The KR team has won silver and bronze medals at international Olympiads (Greece, Korea, Russia, Taiwan, Hungary.). Batkibekova M.B. has various state and government awards. Recognized by the American Biographical Institute as the Person of the Year (2003).
