Educational and methodological work
The department's educational and methodological work is aimed at ensuring high quality of the educational process, improving the effectiveness of teaching, and developing educational programs. This covers a wide range of activities for faculty and the head of the department.
In planning the educational process, the department carried out the following activities:
- Development and adjustment of educational program curricula;
- Coordination of workloads;
- Analysis of the compliance of the State Educational Standards with national qualification requirements.
- Scheduling classes and consultations;
- Allocation of classroom space;
Planning internships and examination sessions.
- Updating course content;
- Formulating competencies and learning outcomes;
- Development of assessment tools.
Guidelines for laboratory work; practical classes; course projects/work; and final qualifying work (bachelor's, master's, and diploma) have been issued.
A resource for assessment tools (RTS) has been developed for assessments, tests, and assignments using a modular rating system. Exam questions, case studies, and situations.
- Conducting lectures, practical classes, seminars, and laboratory sessions;
- Use of digital educational resources (Moodle, Google Classroom, etc.);
- Implementation of interactive learning technologies (project-based learning, flipped classroom);
- Supervision of coursework, diploma, and master's theses;
- Organization of consultations.
The quality of the educational process was improved through the implementation of modern educational technologies; the use of an LMS for monitoring attendance and academic performance; the implementation of practice-oriented learning (case studies, work assignments); analysis of student assessment results; and efforts to reduce academic failure.
The department has prepared educational and methodological publications:
- Textbooks and teaching aids;
- Electronic educational resources;
- Proprietary courses;
- Video lectures, simulators, and testing suites.
- Teacher certification and professional development:
- Faculty participation in professional development courses;
- Preparation of documents for teacher certification;
- Experience sharing, participation in methodological seminars.
- Extracurricular activities with students:
- scientific clubs and student societies;
- preparing students for olympiads, competitions, and hackathons;
- career guidance and educational work;
- mentoring.
Interaction with employers:
- developing practices tailored to industry needs;
- employer participation in adjusting the educational program;
- holding open lectures and master classes;
- organizing internships.
- Monitoring and quality control of education:
- analysis of academic performance and workload;
