Sankov Vyacheslav Ivanovich
Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Thermal Power Engineering
Since 1970, Vyacheslav Ivanovich Sankov worked as a teacher, senior lecturer, associate professor of the Department of Thermal Engineering, and since 1988, head of the above-mentioned department of FPI-KSTU. Since 1997, head of the Department of Heat Engineering and BZD. Total work experience – 48 years, scientific and pedagogical experience – 43 years. Sankov V.I. teaches classes in such disciplines as “Thermal power plants”, “Heat engineering”, “Thermal and nuclear power plants”, “Turbine plants”, “Theoretical foundations of heat engineering”, “Boiler and steam generator plants”, “Thermodynamics and heat transfer”.
Sankov V.I. carries out research work on the study of heat losses in pipelines and safety of work at thermal power enterprises. Regularly reports results at scientific and technical conferences and seminars, and publishes them in print.
For conscientious attitude to work, success in educational and research work, high public activity in training specialists for the Kyrgyz Republic and active participation in the public life of KSTU, he was awarded: a Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Education and Science, cash prizes and certificates of honor from KSTU.
