STUDY WORK
In accordance with the State General Educational Standard, the preparation of bachelors and masters is carried out in the direction: “Thermal power plants”,profile “Thermal power plants”.
Major disciplines:
In the specialty "Thermal power plants":
- strength calculations in TE;
- technical gas dynamics;
- optimization of thermal network modes of thermal power plants;
- design of thermal power equipment;
- steam generator units;
- turbine installations;
- auxiliary equipment and pipelines;
- water preparation and water chemistry regime;
- fuel management and ash removal of thermal power plants;
- thermal and nuclear power plants;
- operation and repair of power units;
- testing and adjustment of thermal equipment;
- reliability and optimization of thermal equipment;
- safety in thermal power engineering.
For the successful conduct of the educational process and research work, the department has created a virtual laboratory in the discipline “Engineering Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer”, in which 20 personal computers are installed, in the amount of 20 pieces, and there is a scientific laboratory. Programs have been developed and installed for calculating coursework and laboratory work in the disciplines of the department.
In the laboratory classrooms there are stands for conducting laboratory work. Over the years of the department's existence, its employees have written monographs, textbooks, research reports, guidelines for course and diploma design, laboratory work corresponding to the main directions, and developed educational and methodological complexes for all taught disciplines.
