International Scientific Conference "STRATEGIC TRENDS IN LOGISTICS DEVELOPMENT"
On February 29, 2024, the International Scientific Conference "Strategic Trends in Logistics Development" took place, organized by the Department of Economic Theory and Management of the Russian University of Transport and the International Higher School of Logistics at the I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University.
The opening remarks by the Director of the International Higher School of Logistics, D.Sc., Professor A.S. Umetaliev, expressed gratitude to all participants for their presence and active involvement in the conference. He underscored the significance of the chosen theme and the importance of scientific research in the field of logistics.
Director of the International Higher School of Logistics, Professor A.S. Umetaliev, highlighted that the conference was a significant event in the scientific life of both universities, providing a unique platform for exchanging experiences, ideas, and the latest scientific achievements in the field of logistics. He emphasized that the success of the conference was made possible through the efforts of all organizers and participants and expressed hope for productive discussions and mutual understanding among scholars from different countries.
The conference program included the following research directions:
- Supply chain management as the ideology of modern business;
- New paradigms and technologies in logistics and supply chain management;
- Digital transformation of logistics business processes in supply chains;
- Design of supply chains: the problem of insourcing/outsourcing choice;
- Managing competitive supply chains under sanctions;
- Security and sustainability of logistics systems and supply chains;
- "Green" technologies in logistics and supply chain management.
