Professor Peter Tamas was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of KSTU named after I. Razzakov


On November 25, 2024, at the Academic Council of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov, Professor Dr. Peter Tamas from the University of Miskolc (Hungary) was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of KSTU. The award ceremony took place as part of a ceremonial meeting of the Academic Council of the University, which was attended by the management, faculty of KSTU, as well as honorary guests from Hungary. Professor Peter Tamas, known for his outstanding achievements in the field of engineering and science, was awarded this title for his long-term contribution to the development of scientific and educational ties between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary, as well as for active cooperation with KSTU. Professor Peter Tamas is a recognized expert in his field, the author of numerous scientific publications and research. In recent years, he has been actively supporting academic exchange and cooperation between the University of Miskolc and KSTU, and has been involved in developing joint educational programmes, including master's courses and double degree programmes. The awarding of the title of Honorary Professor of KSTU to Professor Peter Tamás was an important event in strengthening scientific and educational ties between the two universities and countries. In his speech, the professor expressed gratitude for the high assessment of his work and noted that he is ready to further develop cooperation with KSTU, contributing to the training of highly qualified specialists and the development of science in both countries.
