The VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Urban Transport Logistics: Issues and Solutions", organized with the support of the Municipality of Bishkek.
On April 29, 2024, the VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Urban Transport Logistics: Issues and Solutions" took place at the International Higher School of Logistics of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after Iskhak Razzakov, organized with the support of the Municipality of Bishkek. The conference, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the university, was inaugurated by the university's rector, Mirlan Koichubekovich Chynybaev. Representatives from the Bishkek City Hall, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as specialists and experts from various fields, gathered to discuss current issues related to urban transportation organization.
The conference addressed conceptual approaches to urban transport development in the modern era, measures to optimize urban route networks, sustainable development of transport hubs in urban planning, the concept of smart urban transport, infrastructure issues, public transport efficiency, traffic management, ecological aspects, and new technologies in urban transport logistics, including cable cars, subways, and monorails. Students presented their research on the advantages and disadvantages of each type of transport, their impact on urban infrastructure, ecology, and the comfort of city dwellers. City hall representatives participated in discussions, expressing their views on the management and development of transport logistics in Bishkek.
During the plenary session, Anvar Nazarov, Doctor of Economics from the Tashkent State University of Transport (Tashkent), presented on "Ways to Reduce Traffic Jams on Urban Road Networks."
The Logistics Club members actively contributed to organizing the conference. The best student research papers were recognized with prizes and monetary rewards sponsored by the conference:
- 1st place diploma: Abdyraimova A., Mugalbekova S., Bondarenko P. (10,000 som), presentation topic: "Development of an Application for Parking Space Tracking."
- 2nd place diploma: Akylbekova A., Oruzbaev T.
- 3rd place diploma: Namazaliev A., Akylbekova A., Nabiev I.
Encouragement diplomas were awarded to: Tologonov A., Bashkeev U., Pusurmankulova A., Guliev E., Zhakshylykova D., Zhusumambetova A., Kostrubov D., Duishenaliev U. (and so on).
