International Scientific and Technical Conference Dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of V.M. Kasymova

    On May 15, 2024, the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov hosted the International Scientific and Technical Conference "Problems of Sustainable Development of the Green Economy and Energy in the Context of the Energy Crisis and Modern Challenges of Adaptation to Climate Change." The conference was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic, Full Member of the Engineering Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Honored Energy Worker of the CIS, Distinguished Worker of Industry and Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kasymova Valentina Makhmutovna.

The conference included a plenary session and work in the following sections:

• Section 1: "Sustainable Development of the Green Economy and Energy, Improving Energy Efficiency, and Ways to Overcome the Energy Crisis"

• Section 2: "Ensuring Energy Security and Reliability of the Kyrgyz Republic's Energy System in the Context of Climate Change Adaptation"

Opening Ceremony and Plenary Session

The conference was opened by Arzybaev A.M. , Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of KSTU named after I. Razzakov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, who delivered a welcoming address.

Guests and participants expressed immense gratitude to Kasymova V.M. for her invaluable contribution to the development of national science and the energy system of the Kyrgyz Republic, and for her many years of dedicated and fruitful work in training energy specialists. During the plenary session, a video presentation allowed guests and participants to learn about the rich professional and scientific biography of Kasymova V.M. Attendees also heard a report by Kasymova V.M. herself on the topic: "The Main Activities in Establishing a Scientific School of Economics and Energy in the Kyrgyz Republic."

Section Work and Outcomes

Following the plenary session, conference participants began work in the sections. Based on the results, the most relevant and interesting presentations were identified and recommended for further publication in the "Bulletin of KSTU named after I. Razzakov."

Conference participants were awarded Diplomas of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degrees and Certificates of Participation., III степени и сертификатами участия.
