Postgraduate studies and doctoral programs of the department
Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who have higher professional education confirmed by a specialist or master's diploma are admitted to the postgraduate program on a competitive basis.
Foreign citizens and persons who have received education abroad are admitted to the postgraduate course of KSTU in case of recognition by the competent authorities of equivalence of the received education to the higher professional education of the Kyrgyz Republic on the basis of international treaties, to which the Kyrgyz Republic is a party, entered into force in the order established by law.
Application for admission to the postgraduate program is submitted to the Rector of KSTU with attachment of relevant documents.
Persons who have previously passed candidate examinations are exempted from taking entrance examinations in these subjects. The results of final master's examinations are counted as entrance examinations to the postgraduate program.
Entrants to the postgraduate program pass entrance examinations in special discipline; foreign language; philosophy; Kyrgyz language.
The period of study in postgraduate studies with on-the-job training on a full-time basis is 3 years, on-the-job training on a part-time basis - 4 years. The time of full-time and part-time postgraduate studies is counted in the scientific and scientific-pedagogical experience.
To date, the department implements training programs for Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)/Doctor in the profile of “Financial Analytics”.
Form of training - full-time (with elements of distance learning).
Term of study is 3 years.
Applicants to PhD doctoral program
- Application for admission to PhD doctoral program to the Rector of KSTU (kstu.kg/post);
- Copy of passport and military card;
- Brief justification of preliminary research topics;
- Copy of the labor book, certified by the personnel department (if there is work experience - (except for foreigners));
- Personal record sheet;
- Notarized copy of the diploma on awarding the qualification “Master” or “Specialist”;
- Color photo 3.5×4.5 cm (2 pcs.);
- List of published scientific works (in the absence of the list - an abstract on specialty with reviews of at least two specialists of the industry);
- Certificate of test passing (TOEFL 600/250/100, IELS 7.0), certificate of English language proficiency (if available);
- Certificate of knowledge of Russian language (for foreigners).
- Health certificate.
Foreign citizens must provide a copy of the certificate of equivalence of their diploma of education to the diploma of higher professional education, issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. All documents entering the PhD doctoral program provide personally. Admission of documents to PhD doctoral studies is carried out from July 10 to October 10, 2024. Entrance examinations from October 11 to October 16, enrollment until October 18, 2024.
The cost of education in RhD doctoral program of KSTU named after I.Razzakov:
- 80000 som for citizens of KR;
- 110000 som for citizens of countries that are members of the EAEU intergovernmental agreements (Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Belarus);
- 140000 som for citizens of countries that are not members of the EAEU (Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, etc.);
