Scientific and Pedagogical Internship at Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service (Uzbekistan)
Associate Professors of the department U.N. Moldokmatov, J.B. Ysyrailova, and A.A. Chonkoeva successfully completed a scientific and pedagogical internship at the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service (Uzbekistan) from April 28 to May 5.
During the internship, our associate professors not only familiarized themselves with the organization of the educational process at the institute but also delivered guest lectures for students. This valuable experience allowed them to exchange teaching methodologies and establish new professional contacts. We are confident that the acquired knowledge and new ideas will contribute to the further development of the department and improve the quality of the educational process.

Scientific and Pedagogical Internship of Faculty Staff at the Department of Accounting and Finance, Almaty University of Technology
From April 3 to 6, 2025, lecturers of the Department of "Finance, Analysis, and Accounting" of I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University (KSTU) successfully completed a scientific and pedagogical internship at the Department of Accounting and Finance of Almaty University of Technology (AUT).
The KSTU delegation included Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor E. I. Murzaliyeva, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor A. Zh. Iskenderova, Senior Lecturer B. A. Alimbaev, and Senior Lecturer G. T. Begalieva.
During the internship, the lecturers familiarized themselves with advanced teaching methods in accounting and finance, innovative educational technologies, and the organization of scientific research work at the partner department. Meetings and exchanges of experience were held with leading lecturers and researchers at AUT.
The purpose of this scientific and pedagogical internship is to improve the qualifications of KSTU teaching staff, enhance the educational process, and strengthen cooperation between the two universities in education and science.
The knowledge and experience gained will be used in the further work of the Department of "Finance, Analysis, and Accounting."
Students of the Department of "Finance, Analysis, and Accounting" Study under the Academic Mobility Program at Almaty University of Technology
Second-year students Eliza Zhaparalieva and Elina Ibraeva are successfully studying during the spring semester of 2025 at Almaty University of Technology (AUT) in Kazakhstan.
This academic mobility became possible thanks to the active cooperation between the two universities and is aimed at expanding the students’ educational experience, familiarizing them with new teaching methods, and promoting cultural exchange.
Eliza Zhaparalieva and Elina Ibraeva note the high level of teaching at AUT, the modern material and technical base, and the friendly atmosphere. They actively participate in both the academic process and extracurricular activities of the partner university, gaining valuable knowledge and skills in their field of study.
The academic mobility program is an important part of the international activities of I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University (KSTU), providing students with a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth and strengthening ties with leading universities in the region.
Erasmus+ Academic Mobility of a Student to the Technical University of Liberec (Czech Republic)
Fourth-year student of group FK-1-21, Almaz Zholdoshbek uulu, successfully passed the selection to participate in the Erasmus+ academic mobility program and went to study at the Technical University of Liberec in the Czech Republic. Almaz will study during the spring semester of this year, gaining a unique opportunity to deepen his knowledge in information technology and to get acquainted with the educational system of one of Europe’s leading universities.
This Erasmus+ project provides students with a chance to broaden their horizons, learn about the culture of another country, and improve professional skills in an international environment. We are proud of Almaz’s achievement and confident that this experience will positively impact his personal and academic development.
Student Academic Mobility at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Kazakhstan)
Student of group BUA-1-23, A. Nuradilova, is studying at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Kazakhstan) within the framework of the academic mobility program during the spring semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.
Academic mobility provides students with a unique opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills, exchange experiences with foreign teachers and peers, and broaden their horizons and cultural experience.
We are confident that participation in the program will be an important step in the personal and professional development of the student, as well as strengthen international ties between universities and countries.
First-year master’s student of the Department of "Finance, Analysis, and Accounting," Aiperi Sansyz kyzy, visited Turkey from March 17 to March 25 as part of the project “Türk ellerinden – türk diline.” During the trip, she visited two leading educational institutions: Karaman Mehmetbey University and Selçuk University.
The project was organized with the support of Mr. Kurşat Dulkadir, advisor at the Embassy of Turkey in Kyrgyzstan, and İlyas Sut, director of the TOMER Turkish Language Education Center in Kyrgyzstan. Representatives of the KSTU International Department for academic mobility, especially Chinara Maksutovna Asanbekova, and TOMER instructor Emrah Adak also played an important role in organizing the trip.
The visit provided a unique opportunity for the master’s student to deepen her knowledge of the Turkish language and culture, as well as to expand her academic and professional connections.
Faculty Staff Internship at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, National Research University Higher School of Economics, Moscow
From March 17 to 21, 2025, lecturers of the department — Associate Professors Sh.Kh. Atakhodzhaev, A.A. Chonkoyeva, A.Zh. Iskenderova, and Senior Lecturer G.Sh. Asanova — completed an internship at the Faculty of Economic Sciences (FES) of the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Moscow.
During the internship, they attended lectures and seminars, familiarized themselves with the educational environment of HSE, and held meetings with faculty leadership as well as representatives of the School of Finance and the Department of Educational Innovations and Special International Programs.
The Deputy Dean for International Affairs of FES HSE, Associate Professor A.L. Antsygina, welcomed the guests and spoke about the faculty’s educational programs available for international students and the key directions of international cooperation.
One of the main goals of the visit was to study teaching methodologies and the organization of the educational process. A special tour of the university library was organized for the delegation. Manager E.V. Ustyugova shared details about the library’s work, the structuring of materials, and the latest electronic resources, paying attention to modern zones for independent study.
During a meeting with the Director for Educational Innovations O.E. Chernenko and Project Group Leader E.Yu. Chubakova, current challenges in teaching faced by professors and researchers at higher education institutions were discussed, regardless of national regulatory specifics in Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
They discussed approaches to teaching, ways to support faculty members at the university, and professional development courses.
In meetings with representatives of the School of Finance, including Head and Professor I.V. Ivashkovskaya and Deputy Associate Professor E.Yu. Makeeva, prospects for further cooperation, joint research opportunities, and academic exchanges were discussed.
Associate Professor A.A. Chonkoyeva also gave a presentation at the seminar on "Empirical Research in Banking" by Professor A.M. Karminsky.
Following the visit, both parties agreed to continue collaboration within joint academic initiatives, academic exchanges, and scientific projects.
Opening of the Silk Road International Trade Cooperation Center in Partnership with NWU
On March 15, at I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University (KSTU), the ceremonial opening of a joint campus created in partnership with Northwest University of China took place. The event featured a presentation of new opportunities for students and faculty, as well as the signing of important strategic agreements.
The campus includes the Silk Road International Trade Cooperation Center — a unique platform designed for studying current trends in the global economy and the development of international business. A joint educational program is organized within the Department of "Finance, Analysis, and Accounting."
One of the key events of the opening was the signing of a strategic agreement on a joint 2+2 bachelor's degree program in "International Trade and E-commerce." This program will allow students to study in two countries and receive diplomas from both KSTU and Northwest University of China, opening new horizons for professional growth and international careers.
The opening of the joint campus strengthens international cooperation and creates new prospects for students seeking high-quality education with opportunities for work in the international business environment.
Guest Lecture by Professor Kang Rong from the Faculty of Economics and Management, Northwest University
From March 10 to 15, Professor Kang Rong of the Faculty of Economics and Management at Northwest University delivered a series of guest lectures for faculty members and students of the Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral programs at the Department of "Finance, Analysis, and Accounting" of the Higher School of Economics and Business (HSEB).
The lectures focused on important aspects of modern electronic business in China: "Development of E-business in China: Branding and Marketing in Foreign Markets."
During the lectures, Professor Kang Rong shared unique experience and knowledge regarding the development of Chinese e-business, strategies for successful brand promotion on the international stage, and marketing specifics in different countries. Students had the opportunity to learn about advanced practices of Chinese e-commerce companies and discuss successful cases and methods of promotion in foreign markets.
The event sparked great interest among students and faculty, providing participants with a unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge in international trade, e-commerce, and marketing.
International Online Conference "Zero Waste — Shopping of the Future"
Students of the educational program "International Trade and E-commerce" participated in the international online conference "Zero Waste — Shopping of the Future" on November 15, 2024, where the prospects of a sustainable market and green e-commerce were discussed.
The conference also featured founders of zero waste stores from Europe and the USA, as well as representatives from Central Asian countries who shared unique experiences and visions for the development of zero waste culture. Participants learned about trends in sustainable consumption and the role of e-commerce in greening the future.
Participation in an international job fair is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience, learn about current trends in the global labor market, and meet potential employers.
On November 14, 2024, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor J.B. Ysyrailova from the Department of "Finance, Analysis, and Accounting" participated in the job fair held in Zwickau, Germany.
This experience provided useful advice on resume writing and interview preparation, as well as insights into career opportunities abroad, strengthening the commitment to improving professional competencies in specialist training.
Pedagogical Internship at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE), Moscow
Lecturers of the Department of "Finance, Analysis, and Accounting" of the Higher School of Economics and Business — Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor A.S. Ryspaeva and Lecturer A.K. Samaybekova — completed a scientific and pedagogical internship at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE), Moscow, starting from November 4, 2024.
During the visit, the original cooperation and exchange agreement signed between HSE and KSTU at the university-wide level was officially delivered. The agreement opens new horizons for academic student exchange, joint research and publications, as well as the organization of cultural and scientific events.

The deputy deans shared their experience in project-based learning and the integration of scientific research into the educational process, which contributes to improved quality of education.
Elizaveta Masenkova, a specialist in the FES International Office, gave a guided tour of the HSE campus and library and accompanied the KSTU representatives to meetings with faculty and program directors, offering deeper insight into the educational environment and teaching methods of the university.
Development of Cooperation with Northwest University (China)
From October 28 to 30, 2024, our department was honored to host a working visit from Prof. Songji Wang, Dean of the School of Economics and Management and the Department of International Economics and Trade of Northwest University, and Prof. Rong Kang, Deputy Dean for International Relations at the same school.
During the visit, future directions for cooperation between the universities were discussed.
As part of the visit, a meeting was also held with newly admitted students of the 2+2 program in International Trade and E-commerce. The students were presented with admission certificates to Northwest University in China, opening up new opportunities for study and career development abroad.
A highlight of the visit was the meeting between Prof. Songji Wang and Prof. Rong Kang and Ch.K. Sydykova, Director of the Higher School of Economics and Business, along with representatives of our department. They discussed the prospects for cooperation between our institutions, including academic exchanges, joint research and publications, and collaborative training of professionals in the fields of business and economics.
Overall, the visit of Prof. Songji Wang and Prof. Rong Kang was a significant event for our department and gave new momentum to the development of cooperation with Northwest University (China).

Begalieva are currently at the Technical University of Liberec (Czech Republic) as part of the Erasmus+ academic mobility program since October 5, 2024.
This program provides teachers with a unique opportunity to broaden their knowledge, exchange experiences, and deepen their professional competencies. The lecturers conducted classes in English on financial accounting and finance for second- and third-year students.
Participation in the program opened up new perspectives in the fields of science and education, allowing participants to better understand teaching methodologies, conduct research, and implement innovations in the educational process, thereby enriching their professional experience and strengthening academic collaboration.
Participation in this academic mobility program is not only a step towards professional development but also an opportunity for personal growth, cultural enrichment, and broadening one’s horizons.

International Guest Lecture by Professor Zotova A.S., Vice-Rector for External Relations of SamSTU
Students of the department took part in an international guest lecture by Professor Zotova A.S. from SamSTU, Vice-Rector for External Relations. The topic of the lecture was: "Critical Thinking as the Basis for Managerial Decision-Making in the Modern 'Knowledge Economy'", conducted for the faculty and students of the Higher School of Economics and Business (HSEB) on September 16, 2024, at KSTU.
Third-year student of group BUA-1-21, Ayana Baktarbekova, participated in the "Summer University" project at UrFU (Russia).
On July 19, the "Summer University" project at UrFU concluded, bringing together students from different countries. During the two-week program, participants immersed themselves in the culture of Russia and other nations, expanded their professional horizons, and developed projects.
On the final day, students presented their projects to a panel of experts. The best projects were "Application of Modern Innovative Technologies for Business Development (Pharmacy Blockchain)" among Russian-speaking teams and "Production of the Amino Acid Lysine" among English-speaking programs. The completion of the project was celebrated with a concert, flash mob, and a disco.
The educational program included nine areas, with classes conducted by experienced UrFU professors. Participants visited the best museums of Sverdlovsk region and industrial tours at the leading enterprises of the city.
The "Summer University" involved 400 students from Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, South Ossetia, Moldova, Uzbekistan, India, Mexico, Algeria, Jordan, and South Africa. Simultaneously, the project started at Kazan (Volga) Federal University and Siberian Federal University, with over 1200 students from 25 countries participating.
From our university, three students from the School of Economics and Business, one student from the Institute of Information Technology, and the Deputy Director of the School of Economics and Business participated. They returned on July 21, bringing unforgettable impressions, new acquaintances, and knowledge.
Meeting with the Delegation of Northwestern University (China).
On May 16, 2024, a meeting with the delegation of Northwestern University (China) took place at KGTU named after I. Razzakov.
During the meeting, issues related to the organization of student exchanges, the implementation of the "Double Degree" educational program under the joint program "International Trade and E-Commerce" with the Higher School of Economics and Business, alignment of curricula and academic programs, as well as mutual support in organizing internships and research projects were discussed.
As a result of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in the fields of education, scientific research, and their promotion was signed in order to foster the development of education and scientific research between the two universities.
As part of the visit, the delegation from Northwestern University toured the centers and laboratories of KGTU. This exchange of experience and knowledge became an important step towards further deepening cooperation between KGTU and Chinese partners.
This agreement opens up new opportunities for students, contributing to their professional development and enhancing their competitiveness in the labor market.
Scientific-Pedagogical Internship at the Almaty Technological University (Kazakhstan) - 2024.
Faculty members of the Department of "Finance, Analysis, and Accounting" PhD, Associate Professor E.I. Murzalieva and Senior Lecturer G.Sh. Asanova completed a scientific-pedagogical internship from April 23, 2024, to April 25, 2024, at the Department of "Accounting and Finance" of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the Almaty Technological University (Kazakhstan).
During this internship, they familiarized themselves with the educational process, curricula, exchanged experiences, and conducted lessons for 2nd and 3rd-year students.
Scientific-Pedagogical Internship at the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, Samarkand, Uzbekistan - 2024.
From March 10 to 17, 2024, faculty members of the department A.S. Ryspaeva and G.T. Begalieva completed a scientific-pedagogical internship at the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service in the departments of "Accounting and Auditing by Industries" and "Investments and Innovations" in the city of Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
During their week-long internship, they familiarized themselves with the teaching experience at this university. They also conducted a series of lessons according to a pre-prepared plan on the subjects of "Accounting" and "Taxes and Taxation."
Student of group BUA-1-21, Meerim Toibolotova, participated in the outgoing academic mobility program "WELCOME TO ENU" at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Republic of Kazakhstan, in the spring semester of 2024. This program provides the opportunity to study at ENU during the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year.
As part of the implementation of the "WELCOME TO ENU" program: • Students can choose courses taught in Kazakh, Russian (here), and English (here). • ENU provides comfortable and modern housing in student dormitories exclusively for international students. • The Welcome Center offers support and resources to help international students smoothly integrate into the academic environment. • Students have the opportunity to participate in various cultural and educational activities.
