Participation in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "AIU-2025: Kazakhstan and the International Educational Space — Cooperation for the Future" at the International University of Astana (Astana, Kazakhstan)
Associate Professors of the department, Ch.K. Sydykova and U.M. Omurzakova, successfully presented their reports at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "AIU-2025: Kazakhstan and the International Educational Space — Cooperation for the Future" held at the International University of Astana (Astana, Kazakhstan).
The conference, dedicated to Science Day, took place from April 22 to 25, 2025, in Kazakhstan and served as a platform for exchanging advanced experience and ideas in the fields of education and science.
Associate Professor Ch.K. Sydykova delivered a report that sparked lively interest among conference participants. In addition, Sydykova actively participated in a round table on the topical subject "New Technologies in Tourism: Education, Digitalization, Business," where she shared her knowledge and vision of the sector’s development in the context of digital transformation.
The participation of Associate Professors Ch.K. Sydykova and U.M. Omurzakova in such a significant international event demonstrates the high level of scientific research conducted at the department and contributes to strengthening international cooperation in the field of education.
Participation in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Heritage of Economist Scientists of the Kyrgyz SSR as the Basis of Modern Socio-Economic Development
On April 24, 2025, faculty members of the department actively participated in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Heritage of Economist Scientists of the Kyrgyz SSR as the Basis of Modern Socio-Economic Development,” dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the outstanding Kyrgyz economist scientist, Academician Aidarkan Moldokulov.
The conference served as an important platform for discussing pressing issues of the country’s socio-economic development in the context of the rich scientific heritage of Kyrgyz economist scientists.
Participation in such scientific events allows staying up to date with the latest trends in economic science, exchanging experience, and enriching the educational process with new knowledge and ideas.
We honor the memory of Aidarkan Moldokulov, whose works are a valuable foundation for modern research.
Participation in the 67th International Online Scientific and Technical Conference of Young Scientists, Postgraduates, Master’s Students, and Undergraduates on "Science, Technology, and Engineering Education in the Era of Digitalization and Globalization"
Bachelor’s and master’s students of the department actively participated in the 67th International Online Scientific and Technical Conference (IOSTC) of Young Scientists, Postgraduates, Master’s Students, and Undergraduates on the topic "Science, Technology, and Engineering Education in the Era of Digitalization and Globalization," held on March 27–28, 2025.
All participants representing our department were awarded certificates for successful participation in the conference. Special recognition was given to master’s student Aiperi Sansyz kyzy (group UAUm-1-24), who won 1st place among the conference participants, demonstrating a high level of knowledge and scientific research.
We are proud of the achievements of our students and master’s students and look forward to their continued success in scientific activities and future professional growth.
The research activities of the Department of Finance, Analysis, and Accounting (FAA) focus on the theoretical development of modernization of financial-credit mechanisms and accounting-analytical procedures for innovative development in construction. The results of scientific research are used by economic entities in the construction industry to solve analytical and strategic problems. The main research areas of the department are:

Currently, Dr. Econ. Sc., Prof. A.A. Sherbekova is the Chairperson of the Dissertation Council D 08.23.666 at both the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn and Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov. The FAA department has repeatedly been appointed as the leading organization for reviewing doctoral and candidate dissertations in specialties 08.00.10 (Finance, money circulation, and credit), 08.00.05 (Economics and management of national economy by sectors and fields), and 08.00.12 (Accounting, statistics).
FAA collaborates with universities such as J. Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University, B. Yeltsin Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, M. Ryskulbekov Kyrgyz Economic University, Osh State University, and other universities in Kyrgyzstan. It participates in joint scientific events, including scientific-practical conferences, round tables, and guest lectures. The faculty, postgraduate students, master’s students, and undergraduates regularly participate in international and national scientific-practical conferences and publish their research results in RSCI-indexed journals, Web of Science, and Scopus.

April 20, 2023: Assoc. Prof. A.A. Chonkoyeva participated in the International Scientific and Practical Conference on "Innovative Development of Modern Society: Challenges and Prospects" with a report titled “Vectors of Modern Economic Science in the Context of Innovative Societal Development.”
April 27, 2023: Prof. A.A. Sherbekova and Assoc. Profs. A.A. Chonkoyeva, A.S. Ryspaeva, J.B. Ysyrailova served as scientific supervisors at the 13th International Student Conference organized by the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. Students received awards for their presentations.
April 27-28, 2023: Prof. Sherbekova participated in the 2nd International Scientific Forum on Sustainable Development and Innovation (WFSDI 2023) organized by the Institute of Digital Economy and Law.
April 30, 2023: Faculty members participated as scientific supervisors in the international online conference "Modern Science: Current Issues, Achievements, and Innovations."
May 25, 2023: Prof. Sherbekova and Assoc. Prof. Omurzakova presented at the conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the International University of Kyrgyzstan on "The New Silk Road: Business Cooperation and Economic Development Prospects."
September 2023: Faculty members participated in various international scientific events and mobility programs in Germany, Latvia, Russia, and Belgium.
FAA regularly holds meetings with students in research groups led by faculty members with academic degrees. The groups prepare reports and articles, some of which are recommended for student scientific-practical conferences, competitions, and exhibitions.
FAA maintains close cooperation with major construction and financial-credit organizations, including Kyrgyz Bank OJSC, EcoIslamic Bank OJSC, A Plus Insurance Company, Emark Group LLC, Avangard Style LLC, Consulting Company FinSalt&Co LLC, CH&BER Audit Company LLC, the Ministry of Finance Training Center of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Association Guild of Auditors of the Kyrgyz Republic, among others. Cooperation agreements have been signed to facilitate joint scientific research and implement recommendations based on their results.
