Head of Department, Professor, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences

 

In 1975, she graduated from the Kyrgyz State University named after the 50th Anniversary of the USSR with a degree in Physics. Physics Teacher.

She began her career at the Frunze Polytechnic Institute in 1975, in the Physics Department, holding various positions: senior laboratory assistant, lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, professor, and department head. In 1999, she defended her PhD dissertation in the field of Mechanics of Deformable Solids. Since 2000, she has headed the General Physics Department at KSTU. She is currently the head of the Physics Department. She has worked at KSTU named after I. Razzakov for 42 years.

During her tenure at KSTU, she has written and published over 100 scientific and methodological works, including one monograph, and received one patent for inventions. She has written textbooks and methodological developments in Russian and Kyrgyz, and her textbooks in Kyrgyz have been awarded first and second-degree diplomas on multiple occasions.

Since 2000, under her leadership, the department has been conducting research projects under a grant from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. She is active in research, annually participating in scientific and technical conferences, symposia, and seminars. She writes reviews of scientific papers, acts as an opponent for candidate dissertations, and supervises graduate students and postgraduate students. In 2016, she successfully defended her dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in the specialty "Mechanics of Deformable Solids." She annually prepares students for presentations at student scientific conferences, where they win prizes.

From 2000 to the present, she has served as the Chairperson of the Jury for the Bishkek and National Physics Olympiads. She oversees the physics qualifying rounds for the Kyrgyz team. Since 2003, she has led the Kyrgyz school team at the Asian and International Physics Olympiads. Currently, R.M. Sultanalieva is a member of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Power Engineering and a member of the Academic Council of KSTU.

For her achievements in teaching, research, and conscientious long-term work, she has been repeatedly recognized with commendations and awarded certificates from KSTU, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Bishkek City Hall Education Department, and the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic. She has been an Excellent Education Student since 1998 and an Excellent Trade Union of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (2003). In honor of the 50th anniversary of KTU, she was awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Kyrgyz Republic (2004). In 2007, following the results of the "Best Teachers of the Year" competition, she became the "Best Associate Professor" of the Power Engineering Faculty and the "Best Associate Professor" of KSTU named after I. Razzakov. In 2008, she was awarded the title of "Professor of KSTU." In 2010, she was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Worker of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic." In 2014, in honor of the 60th anniversary of KSTU named after I. Razzakov, she was awarded the KSTU Jubilee Medal, the Honorary Diploma of the "Society of Physicists" of the Kyrgyz Republic (2014), and the Honorary Diploma of the National Commission for the Development of the State Language of the Kyrgyz Republic (2016).
