Research activities
At the Department of "Design", the research activity of the teaching staff is aimed at developing creative work and participating in international, personal, republican-reporting and group exhibitions. In addition, teachers plan and implement textbooks with the stamp of the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, participation in International scientific and technical conferences, online conferences with student developments, which are led by the faculty of the department.
Despite the young age of the department "Design"-the 5th year, she has achieved some success in the field of scientific work of students (R&D) and research. The very first year of education, HSE took first place in the Design section with the development of a series of posters on the topic, "The influence of media resources on the psyche of children." NIRS: Within the framework of the 65th International Network Scientific and Technical Conference (ICSTC) of young scientists, postgraduates, undergraduates and students "Modern Science: current issues, achievements in innovation", associate professors, teachers and students of the department "Design" took part in the work of the subsection "Modern trends in reconstruction and Design", according to the profiles "Graphic design", "Fashion design", "Restoration and reconstruction of architectural heritage" and "Design of architectural environment". Following the results of the conference , the following winners were identified:

Layouts of publications of the almanac of KSTU "65 steps - keeping up with the times, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of KSTU named after I. Razzakov and the information magazine "Scientific developments of KSTU named after I. Razzakov" have been developed.
The teachers of the Department of "Design" have developed badges and medals of KSTU, souvenir products of KSTU named after I. Razzakov." Associate Professors Koenaliev K.K. and Sataev K.A. are members of the jury of the international competition "Design Perspective" in Moscow, where students of the department "Design", as well as assoc. Koenaliev K.K., is a member of the jury of the international graphic design competition in Turkey, Kutakhia. Teachers of the department are diploma holders of various International competitions and exhibitions.
The Department of Design employs 5 associate professors, 2 senior teachers and 4 young specialists. Of these, 1 is an Excellent student of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, 2 is an Excellent student of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, 4 are members of the "Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic", 2 are members of the "Union of Architects of the Kyrgyz Republic", "Honorary Architect of the Kyrgyz Republic".
At the Department of Design, research activities are focused on developing creative work and participating in international, personal, national, and group exhibitions. In addition, the department's faculty plans and executes educational materials approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, participates in international scientific and technical conferences, and organizes online conferences with student projects led by the department's faculty.

Research and Innovation: As part of the 65th International Network Scientific and Technical Conference for Young Scientists, Postgraduate Students, Master's Students, and Students "Modern Science: Current Issues and Innovations," the subsection "Modern Trends in Reconstruction and Design" was attended by associate professors, lecturers, and students from the Department of Design, specializing in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Architectural Heritage Restoration and Reconstruction, and Architectural Environment Design. The teachers of the Department of Design have developed breast insignia and medals of KSTU, souvenirs of KSTU named after I. Razzakov. Associate Professors Koenaliev K.K. and Satayev K.A. are members of the jury of the international competition "Design Perspective" in Moscow, where students of the Department of Design take part, and also Associate Prof. Koenaliev K.K. is a member of the jury of the international competition of graphic design in Turkey, Kyutahia. The teachers of the department are the winners of various international competitions and exhibitions.
