International cooperation with universities from near and far abroad
The Department of Design cooperates on student mobility with the Department of Design, Almaty State University (ATU - Kazakhstan), on exchange with students for industrial and pre-qualification practices. Every year 6-8 students undergo industrial or pre-qualification internship at ATU. In turn, from the ATU of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the same number of students come to the I. Razzakov KSTU, to the Design Department for exchange for further practical training, and guest lectures are also held on both sides. Practices are conducted according to a specially developed program for ATU and vice versa. The head of the department for 2022-23 was appointed by the Rev. Musayeva N.B., and lecturer assoc. K.K. Koenaliev. On international cooperation, negotiations were held with the Institute "Design", Altai State Technical University named after. Polzunova, (AltSTU) Russia, Barnaul, but, unfortunately, since then, wishing for a joint educational program under this agreement is not carried out because there are no willing students in this direction, due to Siberian weather conditions. According to the joint educational program, students are focused on European universities.
