The Department of Software for Computer Systems maintains close contact with stakeholders: Halyk Bank, Doskredobank, Interbank Processing Center (IPC), Velox Software LLC, IP Itigulov, MHIF, Social Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic, etc.
In December 2019 and February 2020, there was a meeting of the heads of Bai Tushum Bank, Halyk Bank, Interbank Processing Center, IP Itigulov with teachers. Topical questions were considered about what knowledge is required from software engineers to solve real practical problems.
Graduates of the department who are project and organization managers (for example, Roman Kononov, Maryam Dyikanova, Ulukbek Samoybekov, Samat Zhoropbekov, Bakyt Itigulov), assessing the real problems of career growth, help the department adjust the curricula.
The content of cybersecurity curricula was also discussed with some stakeholders: at the beginning of May 2020, with Alexander Tvost, one of the founders of CERT.KZ, the first private Kazakh computer incident response center (via ZOOM), and at the end of May, with our the best graduates of this year in the field of information security are Dastan Mazhitov and Mamazhan Asanov. Their opinions were taken into account in the development of the curriculum in this area for the 2020-2021 academic year.
