Research Activities

   Member of the Dissertation Council for the defense of doctoral and candidate dissertations.
In 2008, elected Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Energy named after Albert Einstein.

Research interests include:

  • Theoretical and experimental studies of mechanization tools for efficient road construction works in high-mountain conditions;
  • Improvement of traffic safety organization in the city of Bishkek and throughout the Kyrgyz Republic.

   Since 2004, has served as the principal investigator of state-funded research projects focused on the development and creation of a new generation of working equipment with transformable working bodies for the maintenance, construction, and repair of mountain roads, with total funding of approximately 5.0 million KGS.
In 2007, worked as an expert for the CDIA project titled “Operation and Maintenance of Specialized Equipment for Mechanical Engineers and Operator-Drivers of Water Supply and Municipal Enterprises in Small Cities of the Kyrgyz Republic”.

   Key research results have been implemented in production, including:

  • a full-scale experimental bulldozer attachment with a controllable blade, successfully operating under production conditions at the Production and Mechanical Unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic (2002);
  • a research-experimental mounted device for intensified mixture preparation on road surfaces, implemented at the Machine Testing Station in Sosnovka village (1989).

   Supervises PhD students, master’s students, and research applicants. Delivers lecture courses in:
Mechanization Tools for Road Maintenance and Repair,
Traffic Accident Expertise,
Road Conditions and Traffic Safety,
Fundamentals of Traffic Flow Theory,
Fundamentals of Scientific Research, and others.

Author of 121 scientific and methodological works, including:

  • 17 patents of the Kyrgyz Republic and USSR inventor’s certificates;
  • 2 Eurasian patents;
  • 83 scientific publications, including 2 indexed in Scopus and 31 in RSCI;
  • RSCI citation count — 31, Hirsch index (RSCI) — 2;
  • 1 textbook approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
