The structure of educational and upbringing activities at the Tokmok Branch of Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov, named after Academician Kh. A. Rakhmatulin, includes a specialist in upbringing activities, academic advisors, and curators of academic groups who perform educational functions in accordance with their job descriptions. In addition, educational activities are also organized by leaders of sports events. Overall supervision of the educational process is carried out by the specialist in upbringing activities.

Educational and upbringing work is a purposeful activity of teachers and parents aimed at organizing students’ life activities and creating conditions for their harmonious development, socialization, and formation as individuals with defined value orientations, moral qualities, social skills, and competencies. It includes the organization of educational, creative, and leisure activities and is carried out in various areas: patriotic, spiritual and moral, aesthetic, sports and health-oriented, professional, and other areas. These activities are aimed at preparing individuals for independent life and productive participation in society.

Goals and Objectives

Goal:
Harmonious personal development, self-development, self-improvement, and socialization of the individual.

Objectives:

• Formation of worldview, moral, and ethical principles;

• Development of creative abilities, aesthetic culture, and communication skills;

• Formation of patriotism, civic responsibility, and a healthy lifestyle;

• Preparation for professional activity.

Main Areas

• Civic and Patriotic: Formation of love for the Motherland, a sense of civic duty, and legal culture.

• Spiritual and Moral: Education in honesty, compassion, respect, and the formation of a value system.

• Intellectual: Stimulation of cognitive activity.

• Physical Education / Sports and Health-Oriented: Promotion of a healthy lifestyle and health improvement.

• Labor / Professional: Preparation for work and development of labor skills.

The main areas of educational and upbringing activities are implemented through a unified thematic plan of curator hours conducted for academic groups, in accordance with the educational work plan for the current academic year of the Tokmok Branch of KSTU named after I. Razzakov, named after Academician Kh. A. Rakhmatulin.

At the beginning of each academic year, adaptation activities are organized for first-year students. During the unified curator hour on September 1, first-year students are introduced to the branch’s regulatory and legal documents, the educational process, and the class schedule.
