The methodological work of the department is a system of scientific and practical measures aimed at improving the educational process, enhancing the professional qualifications of academic staff, and developing educational programs. It includes the development of teaching and learning materials, the implementation of modern teaching methods, and quality assurance of education in order to ensure the professional competence of graduates.
Goals and Objectives of Methodological Work
The educational and methodological activities of the faculty staff encompass a wide range of actions aimed at the development, improvement, and organization of the educational process. All members of the department are involved in these activities, which are carried out in various formats.
The main goals and objectives of methodological work include:
development of curricula. Faculty members are engaged in the creation and updating of curricula that define the content, objectives, learning outcomes, and methods for assessing students’ academic performance;
preparation of teaching and learning materials. Instructors develop textbooks, study guides, lecture notes, presentations, and other materials that help students master the course content;
organization of classes. Methodological work also includes the planning and delivery of classes, including lectures, seminars, practical sessions, and laboratory work;
methodological support for students. Faculty members provide methodological assistance and consultations to students, helping them improve their study skills, develop critical thinking, and achieve academic goals;
implementation of innovations. Instructors search for and implementation of innovative teaching methods and approaches, and actively use modern information technologies in the educational process.
