Molmakova Mira Saparovna

PhD, Associate Professor

Mira Saparovna Molmakova graduated from the Faculty of Geoecology and Environmental Engineering at the U. Asanaliev Kyrgyz Mining and Metallurgical Institute (KG-MI) in 2003, specializing in Non-Ferrous Metallurgy and metallurgical engineering.

From 1996 to 2010, she worked as a senior laboratory assistant in the Dean's Office of the Mining and Metallurgical Faculty at KG-MI; as a training supervisor in the Dean's Office of the Mining and Metallurgical Faculty at KG-MI; and as a chief engineer in the Center for Advanced Training at KG-MI. In 2010, she served as Deputy Dean of the Mining and Metallurgical Faculty at KG-MI.

From 2004 to the present, she has been teaching in the Department of Mineral Beneficiation and Metallurgical Processes as a trainee lecturer (2004-2005); lecturer (2008-2010); senior lecturer (2010-2013); acting associate professor (2014-2016); and associate professor (2016 to the present).

In 2013, she successfully defended her PhD dissertation on "Development of Technological Foundations for Integrated Gold-Copper Ore Processing" and was awarded a Candidate of Technical Sciences degree in the following specialties: 25.00.13 "Mineral Beneficiation" and 05.16.02 "Metallurgy of Ferrous, Non-Ferrous, and Rare Metals."

In 2019, by the Decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic, she was awarded the academic title of "Associate Professor" in the specialty "Metallurgy." After defending his PhD dissertation, he published 29 scientific and educational works, including: 14 scientific articles (including those published outside the Kyrgyz Republic with a non-zero impact factor); 11 methodological guidelines; two invention patents; and two textbooks. In June 2014, he submitted his invention, "Method for Sulfuric Acid Leaching of Copper," to the "Selection of the Best Inventions" competition in the field of new inventions and utility models, organized by Kyrgyzpatent. He was awarded a second-degree diploma.

He teaches lectures, laboratory classes, and practical classes in the following disciplines: "Heavy Non-Ferrous Metal Metallurgy," "Integrated Processing of Heavy Non-Ferrous and Light Metal Raw Materials," "Fundamentals of Mineral Beneficiation," "Mineral Beneficiation," "Mineral Raw Material Technology," and "Metallurgical Technologies." She teaches classes at a high scientific and methodological level and supervises coursework and final qualifying theses for students majoring in Metallurgy.

She participated in organizing and conducting roundtable discussions on the topics: "Interaction between Enterprises and Universities for Sustainable Mining Development" (May 19, 2022); "Modern Approaches to Improving the Quality of Education for Mining Specialists" (November 14, 2019); and "Prospects for Interaction between Mining Enterprises and the Institute of Mining and Geotechnical Technologies in the Implementation of the Master's Program in Metallurgy" (December 26, 2018).

She has repeatedly attended AAOPO training seminars and workshops on "Independent Accreditation of Vocational Education Programs and Organizations." She also completed the training course "Learning Outcomes and Their Role in Building the Educational Process," organized by the Ednet Agency for Quality Assurance in Education. M.S. Molmakova participated directly in this training. Educational programs in the "Non-Ferrous Metallurgy" program (Master's degree in 2019; Bachelor's degree in 2020) and the "Mining" specialization, specializing in "Mineral Beneficiation" (2020), have been developed, implemented, and accredited.

To develop professional skills and culture and update her theoretical and practical knowledge in line with modern requirements, she attended programs organized by the R. Rakhimova Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Personnel at I. Arabaev Kazan State University. She also regularly participates in webinars and seminars organized by Antiplagiat JSC.

She was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Central Committee of the Mining and Metallurgical Trade Union of the Kyrgyz Republic (2014); the Certificate of Honor of the U. Asanaliev Institute of Mining and Mining Technologies (2012); and the "Excellent Education" badge of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (2010). Honorary Diploma of the Kyrgyz Mining and Metallurgical Institute named after Academician U. Asanaliev (2007).
