The Department of "Organization of Transportation and Transport Management" is the organizer of international scientific and practical conferences dedicated to the problems of improving road safety, developing logistics systems in transport, and increasing the efficiency of technical operation of vehicles. Such platforms allow the exchange of experience not only among academic circles, but also with representatives of government bodies - the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Main Directorate for Road Safety, the City Transport Department, as well as with representatives of the private sector.

In 2018, an All-Republican seminar for transport workers “Current state and prospects for the development of the transport and technological complex of the Kyrgyz Republic” was held. At the sectional sessions, reports were heard on the scientific work done by doctoral students, graduate students, and applicants. A bibliographic reference book on specialties has been compiled, which contains a detailed list of topics, specialties and other information about defended doctoral and candidate dissertations, as well as upcoming defenses. This is a kind of catalog that allows applicants and graduate students to develop topics and objects of future research in a targeted manner and without prejudice to other applicants.

Currently, employees of the department, as well as related departments in almost all regions of our country, are involved in scientific projects of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Under the guidance of prof. Matkerimov T.Y. and prof. Atabekov K.K. Together with participants in scientific and practical topics, a comprehensive study of international transport corridors, road conditions and traffic safety, transport infrastructure, tourist and logistics routes, as well as logistics centers of Kyrgyzstan is carried out.

Over a short period of time (2017-2018), international, state and local roads were studied: Bishkek-Naryn – Torugart; Osh – Sarytash – Irkeshtam; Osh – Sarytash – Karamyk; Osh – Sarytash – Boor-Dobo; Osh – Batken – Isfana; Suusamyr – Talas – Kyzyl-Adyr – t/point Chon-Kapka; alternative highway "North-South" section Bishkek - Kochkor - Zhumgal. As well as tourist routes of the Issyk-Kul and Jalal-Abad regions.

On June 8-9, 2017, a working group of employees from KSTU and OshTU, headed by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof. Matkerimov T.Y., Atabekov K.K. as well as Atamkulov U.T. and Abdimatov U.I. carried out monitoring of the road and roadside infrastructure of the Osh-Isfana road to the border points of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Additionally, at the request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, dangerous areas where accidents occurred were studied. We also studied dangerous areas where there is a very high probability of an accident.

Below is a dangerous section at 122 km of the Osh-Batken road (the intersection at the entrance to the village of Pulgon), where, due to repeated road accidents, an artificial concrete barrier was created: height - 2 m; thickness – 1.2 m; length – 23 m.

Participants of the working group to study the alternative North-South highway section Bishkek - Kochkor - Zhumgal.

Participants of the working group to study the Balykchy – Karakol highway (North side).

Kozhomuratov M.S. The head of the laboratory of the department “Organization of transportation and traffic safety” measures the speed of vehicles on the Balykchy-Karakol highway (north side) using the “Radis” device.

Participants of the working group to study the Balykchy – Karakol highway (South side).

     Working group to study the highway Bishkek - Suusamyr - Kyzyl-Adyr - t/point Chon-Kapka.

The results obtained during the research have scientific and practical potential, and can be used when writing doctoral and candidate dissertations, as well as used by government agencies and interested parties in the implementation of practical recommendations for improving road safety on the country's roads, optimizing logistics centers, improving tourism routes in the Kyrgyz Republic.

X Congress of IAADO

From September 17 to 19, 2019 on the basis of KSTU named after. I. Razzakov hosted the X Congress of the International Association of Automotive and Road Education (IAADO), which was attended by more than 50 representatives of technical universities of the automotive and road profiles of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Tatarstan and the Kyrgyz Republic. At this congress, the dean of Physics and Technology, Professor T. Y. Matkerimov, who is a representative of the Kyrgyz branch of IAADO, was elected vice-president of IAADO.

Rector of KSTU named after. I. Razzakov Professor Dzhamanbaev M.J. in his welcoming speech, he noted the great role of MAADO for the university in training personnel for the automotive industry. He focused on the significance of the congress, since the congress is taking place on the 65th anniversary of FPI-KSTU, and expressed hope that the next meeting of IAADO will also be held at the next anniversary. I wished the congress fruitful work.

IAADO was organized in 1992. Currently, IAADO includes more than 200 universities in countries near and far abroad. Main activity: maintaining a unified automobile and road educational space within the CIS, participation in the development of uniform educational standards. Organization of international conferences on the training of specialists and scientific problems of transport. Assessing the quality of textbooks and teaching aids, improving automobile and road education, sharing experience in training specialists with higher education.

IAADO holds a congress at least every 3 years; in 2012, an extended meeting of IAADO was held on the basis of KSTU with the participation of representatives of the Educational and Methodological Association of the Russian Federation in the field of transport and road complex.
