Material and technical support of the department
The educational process at the department is carried out in educational buildings No. 3, and No. 4 . The department has 9 educational laboratories and an information technology classroom with access to the university-wide corporate network and the Internet. The department actively uses it for the educational process, creating electronic textbooks, introducing automated teaching systems and monitoring knowledge (testing) in almost all disciplines.
In specialized laboratory classes, lectures, practical and laboratory classes are conducted in accordance with the Working educational program for bachelors and masters in the direction 670300-Technology of transport processes in the profiles “Organization of transportation and transport management” in 3/132, 4/206, “Organization and traffic safety” in 4/220, 3/217, 3/133 “Customs business (in transport)” in 3/120, 4/208. For each discipline, special audiences are distributed according to the disciplines taught.
The purpose of the lectures is to acquire knowledge by students and carry out the necessary activities related to road safety, transportation of passengers and cargo, customs clearance of goods and vehicles, development of traffic management projects, transport planning, mobility management, as well as the implementation of modern traffic management systems and intelligent transport systems.
The laboratory has installed stands that allow students to get acquainted with the elements of active and passive safety of the 4/206 car; there is a computer class with original methods for in-depth study of lecture courses on traffic management, motor transport psychology, driver training methodology, etc. 4/220.
Laboratory 3/120, 3/133 and 4/206 contain technical means of traffic control and organization. The purpose of this laboratory is to provide students with practical acquaintance with modern road equipment. This allows you to become familiar with the basics of operation of various technical means of traffic management.
Of the available fleet of technological, computer and other equipment, 90% are in working order. The total area of training and laboratory premises is 700 m2.
Updating of the means and equipment of the material and technical support of the department “Organization of transportation and transport management” of the educational process is carried out annually.
