  • Roundtable discussions with stakeholders 23.12.2025
    1. “Interaction Between Higher Education Institutions and Employers as a Condition for High-Quality Training of Graduates.” 2. Partnership “University–Enterprise” in the Formation of Professional Practical Skills. The Head of the “OPUT” Department, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor A.A. Altybaev, delivered a presentation and noted that a very important step toward cooperation between the university and industry has been taken, and that modern education requires close links with production. During the meeting, representatives of enterprises expressed proposals and suggestions for improving the quality of education. It was also noted that the labor market requires specialists who meet modern trends in the development of production processes. Representatives of enterprises (stakeholders) expressed their readiness to accept senior undergraduate students and master’s students not only for internships, but also for paid employment with flexible working hours. To achieve the above-mentioned objectives, it is proposed to include in the Curriculum (Working Curriculum) practical classes focused on developing skills in working with modern equipment and studying new technologies.

    1.     On February 27, 2024, a roundtable discussion was held at the Department of Organization of Transportation and Transport Management on the topic: Improving the Quality of Training of Bachelor’s and Master’s Students in the Field 670300 ‘Technology of Transport Processes’ and Introducing Amendments and Additions to the Higher Professional Education Educational Program (OOP VPO) for the Training of Bachelor’s and Master’s Students in the Field 670300 ‘Technology of Transport Processes’.” At the conclusion of the roundtable, the participants adopted a resolution in the following wording: 1. Improving the quality of training of bachelor’s and master’s students in the field 670300 “Technology of Transport Processes.” 2. Introducing amendments and additions to the Higher Professional Education Educational Program (OOP VPO) for the training of bachelor’s and master’s students in the field 670300 “Technology of Transport Processes.” The following resolution was adopted: 1. Higher education institutions and employers face the task of developing effective methods of interaction aimed at maximizing the integration of best practices and innovative technologies into the educational process. 2. To intensify efforts to implement information technologies in the educational process and to improve the quality of educational programs being delivered. 3. To continue joint work on the development of educational and methodological materials (textbooks, teaching aids, practice guidelines, etc.) for the implemented educational programs, taking into account labor market needs. 4. To create conditions for constructive interaction between employers and higher education institutions in order to optimize the educational process, taking into account requirements for professional competencies and labor functions in the training of highly qualified specialists. 5. To continue efforts to update the content and improve the quality of the educational programs being implemented.

    On April 17, 2023, at the Department of Organization of Transportation and Transport Management: 1. To adopt as a basis the list of disciplines forming additional specialized professional competencies under the programs “Organization and Traffic Safety” and “Organization of Transportation and Transport Management,” proposed by the Department of Organization of Transportation and Transport Management. 2. To approve the proposed wording of the additional specialized professional competencies. 3. At the Department of Organization of Transportation and Transport Management of KSTU named after I. Razzakov, to submit a proposal to the university administration on the need to involve representatives of industrial enterprises as instructors to conduct practical classes for master’s students in the programs “Organization and Traffic Safety” and “Organization of Transportation and Transport Management.” 4. To continue work on updating the content and improving the quality of the educational programs being implemented. 5. To introduce on a permanent basis the review of procedures and mechanisms for the development and revision of development plans of the Educational Programs (OOP) for the training of master’s students in the field 670300 “Technology of Transport Processes.”

    On December 9, 2022, a roundtable discussion was held at the Departments of Organization of Transportation and Transport Management and Automobile Transport on the topic: “The New Status of KSTU named after I. Razzakov, Development of Educational Standards and Higher Professional Education Educational Programs (OOP VPO) for the Training of Bachelor’s and Master’s Students in the Fields 670300 ‘Technology of Transport Processes’ and 670200 ‘Operation of Transport and Technological Machines and Complexes’.” The employer representatives who spoke put forward the following proposals, which formed the basis of the resolution of the working seminar: 1. The Department of Organization of Transportation and Transport Management should ensure transparency in the development of the development plan for the Educational Programs (OOP) for the training of bachelor’s and master’s students in the field 670300 “Technology of Transport Processes” by involving representatives of stakeholder groups, including employers, graduates, students, and their parents, taking into account innovative proposals. 2. The Department of Organization of Transportation and Transport Management should develop a reporting mechanism that includes an assessment of the effectiveness of the Educational Programs (OOP) within the quality assurance framework for stakeholders, employers, graduates, students, and their parents. 3. Changes and improvements to program content should be carried out in the context of the latest achievements in science and technology for specific disciplines, practice programs of all types, state examination programs, and the preparation and defense of bachelor’s graduation qualification works and master’s theses. 4. In order to implement an innovative education model and in the context of the Green Economy Concepts in the Kyrgyz Republic “Kyrgyzstan – a Country of Green Economy,” approved by the Resolution of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic dated June 28, 2018 No. 2532–VI, it is necessary to introduce changes to the content of educational programs for the training of bachelor’s and master’s students in the field 670300 “Technology of Transport Processes” and to the organization of the educational process so that they more fully reflect trends in the development of the green economy.

    On March 15, 2021, a roundtable discussion was held at the Department of Organization of Transportation and Traffic Safety on the topic: “Participation of Employers and Other Stakeholders in the Revision of the Provisions of the Educational Program (OOP), Including Graduate Competencies and Learning Outcomes Formed as a Result of Mastering the Higher Professional Education Educational Program (OOP VPO) for Master’s Degree Training in the Field 670300 ‘Technology of Transport Processes’.” At the conclusion of the roundtable, the participants adopted a resolution in the following wording: 1. To approve the graduate competencies in the field 670300 “Technology of Transport Processes” formed as a result of mastering the OOP VPO, as well as the learning outcomes. 2. To continue the practice of involving employers and other stakeholders in the revision of the provisions and the development plan of the OOP. 3. Employers and other stakeholders should have the opportunity to submit proposals for revising the provisions and the development plan of the OOP on an annual basis. 4. Graduates of the Master’s level should be trained under narrowly specialized programs. 5. To continue work on updating the content and improving the quality of the educational programs being implemented.

Higher education institutions and employers face the task of developing effective methods of interaction aimed at maximizing the integration of best practices and innovative technologies into the educational process. 2. To continue work on updating the content and improving the quality of the educational programs being implemented. 3. To continue joint work on the development of educational and methodological materials (textbooks, teaching aids, practice guidelines, etc.) for the implemented educational programs, taking into account labor market needs. 4.     On April 19, 2019, a roundtable discussion was held at the Department of Organization of Transportation and Traffic Safety on the topic: “Preparation of Provisions and Elements of Educational Programs (OOP), State Educational Standards of Higher Professional Education (SES HPE), Working Curricula, and Course Syllabi for the Training of Bachelor’s and Master’s Students in the Field 670300 ‘Technology of Transport Processes’.” The following decisions were adopted: 1. The graduating department of the Faculty of Transport and Mechanical Engineering of KSTU named after I. Razzakov should improve the mechanisms for the development, revision, monitoring, and implementation of educational programs (OOP) for the training of bachelor’s and master’s students in the field 670300 “Technology of Transport Processes.” 2. The graduating department of the Faculty of Transport and Mechanical Engineering of KSTU named after I. Razzakov should improve the system for measuring the level of satisfaction of students, graduates, and employers with regard to ensuring the required quality of training of bachelor’s and master’s students in this field. 3. The Departments of Automobile Transport and Organization of Transportation and Traffic Safety of the Faculty of Transport and Mechanical Engineering of KSTU named after I. Razzakov need to foster a culture of activity oriented toward change, implement innovations, and develop a new type of project-oriented science.
