Research Work The scientific direction of the "CLaMC" department was founded by Prof. Zh.K. Sydykov. Since the opening of the Department of Computer Linguistics and Intercultural Communication, 10 Ph.D. dissertations have been defended by the following teaching staff: Z.P. Akzholova (2007), M.T. Zhaparov (2008), G.E. Zhumalieva (2008), S.Zh. Karabaeva (2009), M.Zh. Tumenbaeva (2010), G.M. Aidyralieva (2011), Shakeeva N.M. (2017), G.D. Bazarbaeva (2018), K.Zh. Abykeev (2018), Borukulova G.Sh. (2019).
Through the efforts of CLaMC department staff, INIT KSUCTA named after N. Isanov, together with the Institute of Linguistics and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the National Commission on State Language under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, 6 International scientific-practical conferences have been organized since 2006 on the topic: "Research and Teaching of State, Official and Foreign Languages using Information Technologies," resulting in more than 300 published reports (articles) by participants in the scientific journal "Vestnik KSUCTA," which is registered in the RSCI system (2006, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2017).
In 2009-2013, the translation of the Windows 7, Windows 8, and MS Office 10 operating system interface into Kyrgyz was completed by Associate Professor Zhumalieva G.E. in collaboration with Logrus company (Moscow, Russia). As a result, users of all subsequent versions of Windows and MS Office can use their computers in the Kyrgyz language.
For outstanding contributions to the republic's science development and long-term joint fruitful work in implementing the Kyrgyz language in information technologies and developing the state language, Zhumalieva G.E. was awarded the "Kyrgyz Tili" badge and honorary certificate; Karabaeva S.Zh., Ukueva K.A., Bazarbaeva G.D., Aralbaev M.E., Abykeev K.Zh., Kasymbekova A.M. were awarded honorary certificates by the National Commission on State Language under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. For contributions to the republic's science development and long-term fruitful work in educating the younger generation, the following teachers were awarded the "Excellence in Education" badge by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic: Ph.D., Associate Professor Karabaeva S.Zh., Ph.D., Associate Professor Zhumalieva G.E., Ph.D., Acting Associate Professor Abykeev K.Zh., and honorary certificates from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic: Senior Lecturer Beishebaeva Zh.A., Ph.D., Acting Associate Professor Borukulova G.Sh.
