Material and technical base

The Department of Computational Linguistics has a sufficient material and technical base necessary for conducting all types of laboratory, practical, disciplinary, and interdisciplinary training, as well as students’ research work, allowing them to develop professional and research competencies. The existing infrastructure of the department ensures the implementation of all types of lectures, practical sessions, and laboratory work provided in the curriculum.

The department's classrooms and lecture halls are equipped with educational equipment, visual teaching materials, and modern computers with the necessary software.

The department has two computer labs and a methodological room (2/314(b)) for students' independent work. The computer labs comply with sanitary and fire safety regulations and standards. They have official certificates and instructions on occupational and fire safety.

To ensure the safety of staff and students, regular safety briefings on occupational and fire safety are conducted by the head of the department in collaboration with the head of laboratories. New employees undergo initial safety training, with records maintained in a dedicated logbook (in accordance with the Fire Safety Measures Instruction and the Occupational Health and Safety Instruction, approved by the Rector of KSTU).
