Research:

A.J. Kozhaliyev's research is dedicated to the comprehensive study of the architectural and urban heritage of Central Asia in the context of historical and cultural interactions. His research focuses on the synthesis of nomadic and sedentary civilizations, the transformation of architectural traditions in ancient and medieval times, and the role of the Silk Road as a key factor in cultural and architectural exchange across the Eurasian space.

He is the author of over 20 research articles (including those in peer-reviewed journals and international and national conference proceedings). These include:

• research articles and reports (journals, proceedings, conference proceedings)

A monograph, "Synthesis of the Cultural Heritage of the Central Asian Region in Ancient and Medieval Times," has been prepared for publication in collaboration with Doctor of Architecture R.S. Mukimov.

 

Educational and Methodological Work:

      Educational and methodological work is aimed at developing and updating the system of training specialists in the field of architecture and architectural design. He develops state educational standards, core educational programs, and curricula for undergraduate and graduate programs in "Oriental Architecture and Design," as well as master's and PhD programs. He focuses on integrating regional architectural traditions, modern design approaches, and interdisciplinary teaching methods, as well as creating teaching materials that ensure practice-oriented training for future architects and designers.

Project work:

     Head of the creative group "Center for Project and Strategic Research in Oriental Architecture and Design." The group develops conceptual and working architectural design projects for the I. Razzakov Kazan State Technical University and other government agencies and ministries of the Kyrgyz Republic.

- Draft design for improvement of the school grounds on B. Bayserkeev street, Zheti-Oguz village, 2025.

- Draft design for improvement of the territory of the aiyl-okmotu and the park “Zhenish Bagy” in the village of Zheti-Oguz, 2025.
