Scientific Research Work
The main focus of the department's scientific research is the study of environmental design formation.
In 2021, the scientific work of Acting Associate Professor A.D. Kozhaliev titled "Synthesis of the cultural heritage of the Central Asian region in antiquity and the Middle Ages" was prepared for defense. Scientific Supervisor: Prof., Doctor of Architecture R.S. Mukimov (Tajikistan). A series of scientific articles have been published, and a monograph on this topic has been prepared for publication. The research results have been integrated into the educational process for a number of professional cycle disciplines.
The department has an external doctoral candidate, A.K. Mokeeva, a graduate of the "DAS" (Architectural Environment Design) program. Research topic: "Unity of symbolism in the architecture of housing in the territory of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan in antiquity and the Middle Ages (issues of continuity and interaction)." Scientific Supervisor: Prof., Doctor of Architecture S.R. Mukimova (Tajikistan).
During the R&D process and evaluation of its results, discussions are held at expanded meetings of the DAS Department to assess the quality level of the work and provide recommendations for integration into the educational process. Scientific seminars and training sessions are held for young staff members of the department.
