Methodical work

Methodological Work
Methodological work at the department is carried out based on regulatory documents such as state educational standards for areas of study, working curricula for fields and profiles, and the academic process schedule approved by the Rector of KSTU named after I. Razzakov. It also follows the instructions on the student knowledge assessment system, intermediate and final certification procedures, evaluation of teachers' performance, and determination of department and institute ratings, as well as regulations on faculties and departments, among other documents.
Innovative teaching technologies based on a competence-based approach are introduced into the educational process to train bachelors and masters.

The educational programs "Applied Informatics" and "Software Engineering" are part of the Educational and Methodological Association (EMA) at KSTU named after I. Razzakov.

The teaching staff conducts classes according to approved individual plans, which are monitored by the heads of departments, the directorate, the educational administration, and the quality department. Consistent and systematic educational and methodological work is carried out in accordance with mandatory documents and orders received by the department.

There are approved curricula for the following fields of study:

  • 710300 "Applied Informatics"
  • 710400 "Software Engineering"

The department is responsible for 66 disciplines related to its field and other university institutes. Teaching and methodological kits (TMK) have been developed for each discipline.
For distance learning, TMK sets have been prepared and submitted to the electronic library. Methodological guidelines are available for all subjects, covering practical classes and independent student work.

A laptop and projector belonging to the department are used for lectures and practical classes. The university library contains the necessary textbooks for the assigned disciplines in both print and electronic formats.

All taught disciplines have working programs. Each course is provided with teaching and methodological literature, based on the library resources of KSTU named after I. Razzakov and IIT. Educational internships (introductory, computer-based, industrial, and pre-qualification) are conducted according to the academic process schedule. Student performance is discussed at department meetings at the end of each semester.
